Hi Jules,
I’m sorry to hear you had a negative experience with the algos. Our algo members have seen a lot of success through refining their settings and using the algo optimizer in the dashboard.
The algos are meant to be controlled and customized by the users. We don't believe in blackbox strategies where you don't know / can't control the strategies.
We give the users the foundation of the strategy, and it's up to the user to refine the algo to their risk tolerance and risk profile.

Too expensive for the data and features it offers
The data they provide can be obtained practically for free using any AI model and TradingView. They don’t offer anything revolutionary that provides a real edge.
What they’ve done with the API is outrageous; it’s just a mechanism to squeeze more money out of you.
It’s a shame because the idea was good, but for whatever reason, they’ve focused on making money instead of providing a real edge.
Response from edgefulJul 5, 2026
We appreciate the feedback.
We just want to make it clear that we pay for the data licenses directly from the exchanges (CME) and use that data to build the app on top of. There are no AI models that have data licenses to redistribute price data. Any questions you ask an AI model, it can’t get accurate price data, which is obviously critical to the process of analytics.
You can’t trust the result that come out of general AI models.
In addition to the price data issue, most LLMs will make a ton of assumptions to get you an answer as quickly as possible. For someone who isn’t familiar with the technical details, you can easily start to trade on the wrong data because you don’t fully understand the assumptions.
TradingView doesn’t provide any data, they have free indicators, but the indicators that are included in our essential edgeful plan are specifically built around the reports, so you don’t need to hopefully find an indicator that properly matches the report you’re looking at. The edgeful indicators are curated to the reports, and included in the essential plan for convenience to the users. We constantly update them and take requests to build new ones for free.
The API isn’t for everyone, if you want to interact with the edgeful data with AI, you can use edgeful AI in the edgeful app, which is included in the essential plan. The API is meant for more in depth workflows, not just simple questions, you can ask it simple questions but it’s built for people that want to integrate their data into their AI routines / workflows.
We’ve never done anything “to make more money out of you” we’ve added dozens of new features, 50 new indicators, over 150 reports, edgeful AI, what’s in play, daily bias screener, and discovery.
If you look at the other reviews we have, you’ll see how much we invest in the customer experience, it’s clear our intentions aren’t to make more money from our users.

Disorganized, sends insulting emails
I was initially excited about this website because I think the idea is excellent - a data-based approach to trading the markets. Unfortunately, the presentation of the date is not the best. Also, the founder sends out a lot of hostile and insulting emails. It's typical for him to send out emails saying things like “This is why you're a loser.” After subscribing for several months, I cancelled my subscription. The founder, André, sent an email begging me to call him for a consultation. I didn't call. A day or two later, he sent an email entitled, I kid you not, “you're a failure.” What kind of petulant dummy thinks that's a good way to communicate with other adults? There's a market data site similar to edgeful opening in about a month. I'll probably give that a try. I'm hoping they are better organized and less weirdly insulting and hostile toward their subscribers.

Hi, we’re sorry you didn’t have a good experience with edgeful’s data. We’d love to hear how we can improve. We’re happy to schedule a call with you to discuss!
As for the email, in a world where you get 500 emails a day. We choose to use more aggressive language to stand out in your inbox. Clearly, it worked. You’re not the first to mention this, and you likely won’t be the last, but it makes an impact.
It’s not personal to you, but a lot of traders need that aggressive push to make a change in their trading.
Those emails are carefully curated to live on the line of too far, or just far enough.
Some people think they’re too far, other people love them.
It’s not a personal attack, it’s meant to stand out in your inbox so you can make a change.
To clarify, we also don’t call anyone a loser in any of the emails.
Really hoping we can discuss improvements on a call

SCAMMED ME FOR $230 THEN BANNED ME!!! STAY AWAY!!!
I originally purchased this service to get some additional daily trading bias. I liked the "what's in play" feature, but really was only mildly useful, and didn't find myself actually using it much.
I decided to try the Algo package after the CEO Adre super hyped it up. I gave it a shot and decided it wasn't for me because I didn't have enough capital.
Unless you have a large cash account it is not possible to make money in a reasonable time with this product.
Because of the large drawdowns, you'd have to purchase a prop account that requires $9k to pass and then earn at least $4k after passing in order to earn a payout.
With the best strategy I found with this service (after messing with it for many many hours and watching all of their "educational" videos multiple times) that would take two to three months if everything went perfectly, all while paying Edeful $300/month.
Plus, they only offer 3 strategies which are orb breakout, ib breakout, and gap fill. All of which can super easily be traded manually.
I told them my concerns and asked for a refund for the additional $230 that I paid for the Algo package because it wasn't a good fit for me at the time. I didn't even ask for a refund for the base package, because I thought that was at least mildly useful.
They gave me the run around for about two weeks then told me that they don't offer refunds even though it doesn't state that on their sales page or on the checkout page. I would have never of gotten any of their services if I knew they didn't offer a money back guarantee.
I told them that because they scammed me out of $230 I was forced to write a review on Trust Pilot informing others that they don't offer refunds. And that I'd be forced to dispute the transaction with my bank in order to make myself whole. Two things that I really didn't want to do.
Instead of reconsidering the refund, they banned me with a full week left on my subscription.

Edgeful comes across as another…
Edgeful comes across as another gimmicky tool that adds no real value. While it provides statistics on setups like ORB or IB, the numbers don’t actually help traders make better decisions. Market behavior changes day by day, and just because price moved a certain way in the past doesn’t mean it will repeat in the future. For a tool to actually work on most trading days, it needs to be dynamic rather than static. Markets shift constantly, but nearly every tool available to retail traders — including this one — is static, locked into fixed stats or patterns that don’t adapt to changing conditions. This makes them unreliable and, ultimately, more noise than edge. I paid once and cancelled immediately. Waste of time and money.

Hi, I’m sorry you had a bad onboarding experience. We’re actually redoing the entire onboarding now to help show you use the historical data, as well as the live data, in your trading every day.
As for the reports, they update every day, and actually give you a pulse on how the market environments change. For example, if you see that the ORB stats are starting to change this would be your sign to adapt your trading and expectations.
As for the live data, we have two different live data features — the what’s in play and the screener.
The what’s in play uses live data to tell you what’s setting up on a single ticker — this is the focused view.
Then the screener uses live data to tell you what’s setting up for any ticker — this is a broad market view.
We also just released the overall daily bias on the screener, which summarizes the data-backed bias for all the tickers you care about. So if you’re trading ES or NQ, you can know exactly what the major market movers are doing.
We’re upset we underdelivered on the onboarding experience, and would love to give you a free onboarding call to walk you through exactly how to apply edgeful to your trading every day!
Please reach out to [email protected] to schedule the call!

Absolute waste of money
Report data isnt always right and actually doesnt indicate anything useful to be honest, there is a lot of indicators, but all of them are available for free on TradingView from other vendors, but its 50 usd, so I can imagine its worth its price, but just not useful at all with my trading style
ALGOS - 250 additioanal USD since they are not available within the 50 USD access (their twitter and website are baiting you that they are available, but you need to pay additional 250 USD), but the worst part is that they are simply not working at all, default settings are garbage (even if they say on videos and on their DC that its actually working fine out of box). They are saying that you need to fine tune your strategy for yourself, but there is no actual working strategy to be done just with those algos (well you can have decent results such as 3% per month on more stable assets like gold, but you need to take 59 trades per month on 15 second timeframe, otherwise it wont be profitable at all as those trades are usually like 0.3R on full TP).
Some ppl who bougt it are trying to set things up on their DC and share useful settings, but its still absolutely insane that this thing is worth 250 USD- there is no trial and no 7 days access- you pay 250 USD for literally cat in the box. Wouldnt recommend to anyone, 250 USD thrown into void. I stopped using it after literally few hours, but obviously there is no refund policy or anything. I will share some proof of what I am saying on other socials (without breaking their rules ofc). Do not buy it at any chance.

Hi, we’re sad to hear you felt this way get started with edgeful.
We get the futures data directly from CME, stock data from NASDAQ, crypto from Coinbase, and forex from OANDA. Also as a note if you are not paying for live market data on Tradingview you are not getting accurate prices directly from the exchanges.
I just want to make sure you’re checking the reports properly, we have a lot of customizations and we have explainer videos which will tell you exactly what’s being measured. Some of the reports are a little more nuanced than others, and are sometimes complicated to check on your charts. So it may be that you are checking against the wrong calculation. Did you get a chance to watch the videos to see how to check if the data is correct?
Regarding the algos, we mention that an upgrade is required on the site in every step of the sign up and checkout process.
We provide over a dozen videos walking through every step of setting up the algos, how to best optimize etc. they are a required part of the onboarding to make your algos successful.
It seems like you deactivated the membership after only a couple hours, so you likely didn’t have a chance to watch all the required onboarding videos, properly set up the algos and see how powerful the customization options are. We would have loved to help you get set up with the free call that we offer to all algo members.
We have many members you have been profitable for months using the algos and continually passing funded challenges.

The stats are not accurate
The stats are not accurate. Do a manual counting on the stats and see for yourself.

Hi, thank you for leaving a review, we take data accuracy very seriously and this is something we will absolutely address if there’s an issue.
We get the futures data directly from CME, stock data from NASDAQ, crypto from Coinbase, and forex from OANDA.
I just want to make sure you’re checking the reports properly, we’ve added a lot of customizations and we’ve redone all of the explainer videos which will tell you exactly what’s being measured. Some of the reports are a little more nuanced than others, and are sometimes complicated to check on your charts.
One thing that edgeful does which is very unique, is that we allow you to filter for sessions. Daily, NY, London, etc. if you select the NY session, this filters out all the price action outside of the NY session, which will drastically change the results of the report. here’s a video on how sessions work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ayf-LlsRTtY
Also, please make sure when you’re comparing data on your charting platform, that you have the market data subscription directly from the exchanges.
For example, the stock data on TradingView is not the official price data. If you don’t have the market data subscription, you’ll see the red ≈ and it’ll say “our charts display real-time US stock data from the Cboe one exchange for free. Sometimes, this data is slightly different from the data coming directly from NASDAQ. This happens because the trading volume is lower on Cboe One. If you believe this difference is crucial to your trading strategy, the best option is buying real-time data from the primary exchange.” This is directly from TradingView. We just wanted to highlight this because if you’re comparing edgeful to TradingView and don’t have the market data subscription, the data may not match exactly because we get our data directly from the NASDAQ.
We’re happy to get on a call and we will walk you through exactly how to check the reports. Can you please reach out to [email protected] and let us know what which reports / assets you saw with issues? We can also schedule a call to review the reports as well!
Looking forward to speaking

Sydney, Tokyo, London reports incorrect
All reports based on the Sydney, Tokyo or London sessions use a time expressed in ET. For example the Sydney open is expressed as 6pm ET. While this is correct over the USA winter, during the USA summer the Sydney open occurs at 8pm ET. During the two shoulder seasons the open occurs at 7pm ET. This is due to both USA and Australia daylight saving.
So when running say the Sydney ORB: (Opening Range Breakout) report for 1 year it will take ALL the data from 6pm ET so some of the data will be correct, the rest will be 1 hour or 2 hours BEFORE the Sydney open, obviously giving an incorrect result when aggregated into the final report.
The same problem exists for reports based on the Tokyo and London sessions.
I have explained the problem to Brad in support twice, and have also contracted the co-founder Andre twice about the issue. I have not received any response about the issue. I suspect it has been put in the "too hard" basket.
What a shame, edgeful is a good idea with a great interface but incorrect data.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’ve built edgeful around extensive user feedback from traders around the world. The sessions were something we were very focused on getting feedback for because there doesn’t seem to be a set time when sessions open / close (or at least a lot of differing opinions across futures, forex, and crypto).
The overwhelming response was to have us build edgeful in fixed NY time zone, the way we have it now. Almost all traders we spoke with traded fixed NY times even as their local timezones exited/entered daylight savings.
Based on your feedback we are going to build a separate time zone adjusted custom session so that you can pick a session solely based on your local timezone. We want to build this for traders like you who trade based on their local time rather than basing session always on ET time.
Please feel free to email us at [email protected] to book a call if you have any questions!
