Underscore all that is said below: - Forced to use this by big corporations - Does not adapt to SMBs - Billing is automatic even if you don't use the platform, so you have to go in and explicitly cancel the subscription - Checkboxing process that doesn't provide any value - No real audits or checks, so data and scoring is rubbish - Feels like a green pyramid scheme to extract cash from small businesses - Serves the purpose of greenwashing large enterprises

I agree with all the negative reviews, questionnaire is cumbersome and long winded, no consistency in results and customer service is diabolical and very frustrating. They are a computer says no company with no flexibility to help in any way. Their questionnaire ask you to show how good your company policies are on ensuring good ethical security concious procedures, yet when you ask them to follow one of your policies to ensure correct bank accounts are set up they won't even entertain you and constantly refer everything to their website. I dread having to deal with these each year, and we need more people to raise their concerns in this way, as they don't listen when you try to tell them directly.

The portal has no contact email or phone number; it has just a Contact Us web section, which is not dealt with on time as advised in 3-4 working days. They do not offer any training or help with your requests and use a tacit acceptance of their terms and conditions, so you have to be very careful to read all of the terms and conditions before subscribing. They do automatic renewals regardless of your request to cancel the annual subscription. Disappointing and total lack of professionalism.

Attention : Ecovadis vous fait souscrire un service d'abonnement qu'il faut payer chaque année. Pour autant, au delà de la première année, il n'y a aucun service fourni, pas de possibilité d'échanger, de demander une nouvel étude du dossier. C'est extrêmement décevant et leur système de notation est incompréhensible. Je suis très déçu par mon expérience avec eux et ne recommande pas cette société.

An extremely cumbersome desktop audit without any face to face or vocal interaction available. Does not take into account SME size businesses in their one size fits all approach. No redress without having to pay extra costly fees. Goal posts are constantly shifting resulting in a requirement to change your focus every year. Failure to recognise national government initiatives and only seem interested in global ones which is difficult for many SME's. Overall, a very time consuming desk top audit which feels more like a box ticking exercise. This is a real shame because it could be great if they offered more support rather than just directing you to webinars. They could learn a lot from ISO and Sedex.

Zero customer service, there is a big language barrier, the site is beyond glitchy and I now have to sit looking at the hanging site with a deadline hanging over me and no contact available. Like the other reviews am required to use this by client.

I am experiencing the same problem as many others here who have written a review. I was forced to use Ecovadis by our client and paid for them to create the report, The questionnaire is not geared at all towards micro-sized companies (we have just two persons in the company). The report generated was useless, we had no idea this was a subscription based service with auto-renewals as we only wanted a one-time single report. They are now trying to collect money for a 2nd year subscription and refuse to acknowledge that it is not written clearly anywhere that this is a subscription. Now they are threatening to take legal action via external collection agencies which will increase the costs.
