I have yet to use the paint but I gashed my hand trying to open the $75 can sent in the mail. I emailed with no response, wrong email? I also called and tried to have a very detailed message in which he said pry the metal tabs from the side, not to top, not true, pry them from the top, fyi. Maybe the paint is good tho! (?)

one thing I really liked was the fact that right after I finished staining my stairs you couldn't even tell I had done it. However, the standard shipping is not the only at to go. Wasn't in a hurry to get it so I opted to use the standard shipping and pay less just to find out that UPS just charges the extra $10 to pick it up at their store. So not only did I have to pay more I have to drive 15 mile to the nearest UPS store and pick it up.

I recently ordered 5 gallons of stain. I was suppose to order 4 gallons of walnut exterior stain and 1 gallon of mahogany exterior stain. 5 gallons of mahogany came. I guess it was my mistake when I ordered since the receite stated that. The mahogany stain is great. When I call to send back the other 4 gallons that I don't need and order 4 gallons on walnut in exchange, they said it was against their policy to take returns, even though the stains were never opened. I'm out $200 and still need a different color. I decided to buy a stain from another company. I'm more disappointed with myself than ecospaint

Each time I selected one stain, upon checkout, it changed back to the default. Just FYI to watch for this. Hopefully just a glitch that day on ECOS' end.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the materials, put the shipping charges are to high for me.

The product is great. The wood stain makes my homemade outdoor table look professional. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because shipping was $10 to have it picked up at a local ups store, and then the UPS store tried to charge me another $10 for their fee. Fortunately ECOs customer service was on point and quick to help. But even after the issue seemed to be resolved over email, the UPS store still tried to charge me the extra $10. Eventually they let me take my wood stain without the charge, but it took quite a bit of convincing.

I'd rate this 3.5 starts. My husband and I just primed half of our guest room and the paint goes on about the same as Kilz. I'll preface the next part by saying I'm particularly sensitive to smells/chemicals. I was a bit disappointed as it was most definitely NOT odorless, but it was by far the least toxic smelling paint we've used and hopefully the smell will have dissipated by morning. It did give me a headache though, but having the windows opened would have helped that (if it wasn't 25 degrees here). It'll be interesting to see how well the regular paint covers the walls.

Haven't used the paint yet, but shipping was pretty slow.
