I purchased this paint because they claimed Non-Toxic, No odor and Zero VOC. I have a 33 year old macaw (parrot) so it was extremely important for her that there were no fumes in the house. I read all the documentation and am happy to report that it is extremely low odor. I used three different colors in the room directly behind my bird's cage. There was no odor in the room where she was and I didn't smell the paint at all anywhere other than the room where we were painting. As I said, it was a very faint odor, no headaches! The application went very well. No dripping; no mess. The paint is thicker than 'normal' paint and went on the walls easily. The two dark colors had me a little worried on the first coat, but the second coat covered everything and looks beautiful. I would recommend this paint for anyone painting any interior areas. I'm sure the exterior paint would be great also, but I have not tried it. Clean up was easy with soap and water. I would highly recommend this paint. There was one minor thing I noticed. The size of the can is a bit larger than a normal paint can so the plastic lids to pour paint, etc., don't snap on the Ecos paint can like they do other cans. However, I was able to get mine to work for what I needed and the benefits of this paint far outweigh this small issue.

After using ValSpar low VOC paint I was unable to go into our bedroom. After removing all painted surfaces, drywall and ceilings I'm thrilled to find a paint that does not cause a severe allergic reaction. Thank you for making a true zero VOC paint. After 21 months, I finally will be able to sleep in the master bedroom again. Don't believe anyone that says, "It will air out". If you have severe chemical allergies such as formaldehyde remove your exposure and start over with a quality paint such as Ecos.

Bought a bunch of stain samples & they were very true to the sample chart online. Loved that there was no offending odor & that I don't have to worry about lingering VOCs in my home. I will be back to purchase some larger sizes. A+++

I re-finish furniture. The smells of oil base have been dreadful. Then the overnight wait to top coat. Gumming of the sand paper as well. This ECOS goes on milky indicating how much your applying, then dries crystal clear. Sands beautifully after 2 hours. I am able to apply 3-4 coats in a day. This enables me to finish a piece in 24 hours. There is no odor whatsoever. The final produce is amazing and I recommend it to anyone who is tired of the mess, smell of oil base finishes.

The product did the job well and had no odor. I will definitely use this product again.

Perfectly matched two difficult color swatches.

I purchased 3 sample stains and 1 varnish from EcosPaints and sent them to my re-finisher. He was astonished at how it dried quickly without smell and also the varnish. He told me that he is going to use your products from now on. He has been in business for over 40 years and he wants to go natural. Hoorah! He said he was glad he met me because I have MCS and have had many challenges over the years being in chemicals. I highly recommend this company.
