Zero Stars!!!! FRAUD!!! Do NOT use this company… They came and performed 1 service! Did not show for the second or the third “re-scheduled” service but still charged me. Now they are lying and saying they did come and can see it on the GPS after telling me that they accidentally serviced the wrong house for my second service. Can’t keep their lies straight and are refusing to cancel my service unless I pay $150 after they STOLE $180 from me on my second service that was never performed. Please RUN!!!!!!! They are not a legit company but a bunch of scam artists. If you’re also a victim of their fraud, please know you can take legal action.

WATCHOUT WHEN YOU SIGN A CONTRACT?
WATCHOUT WHEN YOU SIGN A CONTRACT?
I only signed for 1 full year contract. My one full year contract was signed on May 25, 2021. The last service was done on June 2, 2022. I did not have any valid contract with Ecoshield after June 2, 2022, but Ecoshield still forced and said that if I cancel there will be a penalty. This is true.
Ecoshield failed to deliver services but still charged services fees of $161 and collected it from me anyway. I live in Stillwater, MN.

READ THE CONTRACT FIRST
READ THE CONTRACT FIRST
A young man came to our door and offered the EcoShield services. Said others in our neighborhood (used names) were doing the same. Offered us a REAL DEAL for five visits for a discounted price. What wasn't made clear and is in the contract in fine print, is that this was the cost per treatment. The way he explained it to us was that it would cost $149 for all five treatments - not true. When we realized it was per treatment, we called to cancel. Found out they have a $150.00 cancellation fee. This was a real scam. Don't sign anything.

SHOULD BE OUTLAWED IN NJ
There should be a class action lawsuit and criminal charges filed against this NJ Franchise.
They solicit with out permits, and they do not provide the services that they claim to provide.
Very sad.

Spent $1000. STILL have bugs.
Paid almost $1000 for an extermination service. The bugs are STILL here. Biting my 4 kids. Have had CONSTANT issues with lies & runaround from EVERYONE at this company. Now I STILL have these damn bugs & they refuse to try to send anyone out to finish killing them off. I'm out $1000 & no money to get anyone else out to clean up their leftovers.

8 year old finds their gory mess
They said they would setup bait boxes to kill mice and see if we had them. I mentioned I had kids and a puppy. They setup these cheap cardboard bait boxes in plain view in my garage. A mouse got trapped in it as it’s essentially glue and the mouse just starves to death apparently. Well, my 8 year old daughter went out in the garage and there is this bait box, it had come unsealed as they are crappy little cardboard boxes and it’s contents is in full view. In this case, my 8 year old got to see a mouse trapped in it bleeding from all of its orifices and still alive looking around. Ultimately, had to put the animal out of its misery with a hammer. This was not something an 8 year old should have seen. I called to cancel and they refused to cancel my service without charging me the $150 termination fee. They’re not a good company. Nothing “eco” about them.

Similar terrible experience that many others have had with them
They knocked on my door almost 2 years ago with a similar theme/tactic I've been reading by others... Saying "so & so next door hired us so we wanted to offer our services", etc... It just so happened that I was annoyed with my long time pest maintenance company because of those pesky minor rate increases that would consistently show up every other quarter-ish, so I gave Ecoshield a try. Huge mistake. I can literally provide pictures of ticks that were constantly on our back screen door throughout last summer, which was the first time we had ever even seen a tick on this property since we moved here in 2007. They came out for a "touch up" that was as worthless as their other visits, so that was the one and only time I ever utilized their much hyped touch up service. I reached my breaking point this past spring when not long after they came out the first week of March, we started seeing a lot of ants in our master bathroom. Again, it had never been a problem with our previous company. I didn't bother calling them for another worthless touch up. Within 2 weeks I had rehired that previous company and began paying them. I have one service remaining on my "contract" with Ecoshield that's scheduled for June or July (don't know and don't care), which I told them I don't want or need. They've been hounding me about a $200 cancellation fee, which there is zero chance I'm paying. Now they're threatening to send it to a collection agency and I told them that if they do, I'll be disputing the early March charge with my bank/CC company, whom I'm 99% sure will do so because I do a lot of business with them for both personal banking & via my company.
Try getting a hold of Ecoshield and you'll get a robotic/automated voice giving you a status update, encouraging you to call their toll free number, which goes to a call center overseas. I've told them twice now (on the ever so frightening recorded line) of my intention to dispute the March 1st charge if they proceed. Want to try to blemish my credit because your service is garbage? Go ahead, as I don't need credit anyway, but it's going to cost your lousy company at least another $200 and hopefully even more if my bank is willing to go back further. I paid your lousy company for 6 services ($1,200) that practically made bugs RSVP to my house. You're trying to collect for a final service that wasn't rendered and is not wanted. Stop with the lousy business practices and move on.
On a final note, if you look at Google Reviews they have over 2,500 reviews and a score of 4.8. Lmaooooo, I'd bet 100 service payments that that score is about as authentic as their tick deterrent. Those call center folks in the Philippines more than likely have multiple tasks required as part of their employment.

Criminal Methods
Zero stars. Eco Shield routinely tailgates residents to gain entry to our gated neighborhood which has signs that say Private Property- No Trespassing. When the salesman is confronted about soliciting (4 different times), he refuses to leave. We now have agreement from our Sheriff Department that they will work with us to end this practice. Avoid doing business (Eco Shield) with a company that knowingly breaks the law.
