An unsolicited visit by and eco shield person in NJ knocked on our door when only my 20yr old daughter was home, so she didn't answer the door. She called me and asked if I scheduled a service. I did not. He proceeded to walk around our home, ended up opening door to our back yard screened in porch and saw my daughter through the dining room window. he spritzed the window. He then left porch, lingered around yard, left a flyer at front door and left. We called the police, called eco shield. Supposedly they were to treat our neighbors property. Was there for 15 mins...very suspicious, like he was casing the place. Why go to back yard, up steps to deck, open door to screened porch and look through window? So perhaps my house was cased or maybe they showed up and sprayed chemicals on and around it without my permission? W.T.F.? I might try to sue them, totally unreasonable with 2 cars in driveway and nobody answering door with house number in huge 4" size numbers. Maybe press charges for trespassing and vandalism?

Be careful with this company they are fraud and cheater. Do not entertain these representatives. worst experience and they will do keep on bugging and irritate with calls all the time. Guys be careful.

They promise you anything to get you to sign up for their service and then can't meet those promises when you're under contract; then charge you a large cancellation fee if you cancel because they can't perform!

This company was a God sent when I first was approached by a gentlemen named Andrew inmy newly developed neighborhood, StoneHaven Jeffersonton VA. I was told I'd pay a ONE TIME FEE OF 169.00 which I approved for the first time services in JULY 2023!!! I was then told they were coming back after 30 days to remove the spider eggs and whatever other type of pest that spray they used wouldm!e come out and lay eggs. After the 30 days they would come and remove the eggs free of charge!!! Or excuse me... his exact words were "ALL INCLUDED with the ONE TIME FEE"! I RECEIVED an email yesterday evening saying they had scheduled a 830am to 1030am apt on today's date Aug 16th 2023. Immediately, I called the number and texted it "unavailable number and a number not in service"response is what I received. So I sent an email, saying I would NOT be available for this apt THEY made without my consent or knowledge and to contact me at my number to reschedule (thinking this was still just an all included visited from the one time fee). I revcieved no response. Today goes by (I'm a full time nurse and a single mother of a special needs child).... so let me be clear when I say I tolerate absolutely no nonsense. With all I'm dealing with I still preform and stick to my job description when I work. I accept the same from others. I returned home today, with a "ecoshield service" slip on my door, turned it over and it's 100% BLANK! NO SIGNATURE, NO DESCRIPTION OF WHAT THE SERVICE WAS THEY PREFORMED, NO TECHS NAME OR TIME OR EVEN A DATE! THEN I NOTICE THE LITTLE FERTILIZER PEALETTS ALL IN MY FLOWER BEDS and along my landscaping. I know it's their fertilizer because the tech who came the 1st time dropped the entire bucket of fertilizer in my driveway the day of the first (one time fee) visit. I can identify that stuff spot on... it has a funky odor too. I assumed they did the outside of the house as far as removing the eggs and cobwebs they told me they would return to do. As I walked around my property I notice none of the spider webs or eggs had been removed. Very irritated and conffussed. I SENT ANOTHER EMAIL (just what I'd love to spend my time doing after working all day, and caring for others...) #NOT! No response. At 1005pm I received an email... not just any email... a ecoshield recipe email for 169.99 dollars for a bi-monthly service fee. These horrible people STOLE FROM A SINGLE MOTHER! THEY DID NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO CHARGE ME A 2ND TIME AND THEY DID NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO PUT ANYTHING ELSE ALL OVER MY YARD TODAY. SOOOOOO FURIOUS!!! I WAS KIND TO THESE A HOLES, I DIDNT FREAK OUT WHEN HE DROPED THAT CRAP ALL OVER MY DRIVEWAY, OR WHEN THE TECH LAYING THE FERTILIZER GOT IT ALL OVER MY SONS TOYS, TOXIC OR NOT I DONT WANT THAT ANYWHERE NEAR MY CHILDS PLAY ITEMS OR ANYTHING HE OR I TOUCH. I GAVE THEM WATER BOTTLES CAUSE IT WAS HOT AS HELL. ALSO SCHEDULED THE 1SF APT FOR 7PM... ANDREW talked a good pitch and when he said "oh 7pm no problem we leave at ,like 8pm from customers houses" then they showed up at 5pm I never complained even though that's insanely unprofessional to show up 2 hours early to a client's house. Did I report them... no. Did I cancel... no. God, Wish I had!. Now I'm dea,in with a canceled card and a bank report for an unauthorized transaction and won't have anew card until sometime next week and now my kid and I have no access to my money. I'm livid!!! Shame on you people in northern VA scaming us and praying on a newly developed neighborhood. What goes around comes around. You get what you put out in this world, just remember that when karma bites this company in the tushy. God bless and I hope you go out of business. Not to smart I will add... we all have ring doorbells in this neighborhood. My ring subscription is very much active. Tonight, I went back and replayed the pitch conversation from that day I was aproched in my driveway by Andrew or Andy, whatever his name was... selling ecoshield and you can hear every word clear as day.... "one time fee then goes on to say what was all included and the future visits". That and this screenshot of the ucompleted service slip and unauthorized $169.99 email recipe from today's date... is all the proof I need to take to every social media account I own and where ever else I can voice my exsperienanto warn others.

Read the other negative reviews, they are accurate! The salesman lies UNCONSCIONABLY! He tells you it’s biannual service at $139 and get you to sign a contract without even letting you read it. Turns out it’s quarterly and the price is much higher. Also, they will charge you an outrageous amount to cancel the “contract”. And when you call to cancel, the guy that answers your call refuses to cancel the contract; says you HAVE TO TALK TO YOUR SALES PERSON!!!

I have never dealt with such a worse service company before. A sales guy comes to your house and sells you a contract for quarterly treatments without mentioning about the contract terms even once. he made it sounds like the service comprises of 2 visits, first to kill adult bugs and 2nd to kill younger ones and you can continue if you like the service. and then they charge you for their second visit which they say is most crucial. So it's almost a scam where they sell you first visit at discount but 2nd visit which is expensive is the crucial one. I saw bugs even after their first visit and reported to them so even the quality of bug treatment is not effective at all. couple of kids show to your house and spray the chemical at few corners of the house and expect it to work. Just buy a can of ortho home defense and do it yourself which would be more effective than their service.

Absolute scam of a company. They came to our door and bombarded us with facts and saying they signed up our neighbors. None of them signed up and some said they couldn't believe we were stupid enough to sign up... Two unprofessional looking men came the next day and went around our house for 5 minutes and did nothing. I literally watched them bang on our home to make it sound like they were doing work. Then I went to cancel... Their customer service is a call center in India... They charged me $319 to cancel. I am beyond disgusted, thinking about lawyering up tbh. DO NOT sign up with them.

I was approached by a rep from Ecoshiled last month who ended up signing me up for a quarterly service for $179 each service under a contract of 12 months. I have my first service done on June 29 and they have just sent an email with my next appointment on July 31st and I am required to pay the $179 again. I called the Customer Service line. They are giving me excuses about the eggs hatching within 30 to 45 days and that is why they need to do it this way. They also used the same excuse to explain to me why I have not experienced any good outcome from the first service. I came here to leave a review and read a few other reviews. I wished I had done this before signing up for a contract for 12 months. I do not think there is quality or integrity in this company. I regret the transaction. If I cancel my contract they are going to charge me the service fee of $179 plus a $150 early termination of the contract. Be aware!!!
