Unethical high pressure tactics used to sign a contract of misery. Wasp problem never resolved so I had to use my time and money to resove the issue that I was paying Ecoshield to resolve at 180 dollars a treatment. And now I get to paid a 270 dollar cancellation fee.Do yourself a favor when they show up at your door and don't answer.

Horrible service. Predatory business!! Be careful, there is a 24 month "commitment" contract like the old phone companies used to do. It will cost you another $150 to get out of the contract. The slimey sales guy said they can prevent bed-bugs and will come in under $100 a treatment - when in fact, they cost $170 a month and to get out I have to pay an additional $300! Sub-par service too. A different person every time they come to my house andSuper jerk Customer Care system and you can't reach a local person when you are in trouble. Basically there are tons of better options! This company is a corporate predator - and they don't provide good services. Wasted my time since August of 2022. Going back to a local company!! These corporate companies are an expensive JOKE!

after using them for one year and poor results, never got rid of ants, and always delayed coming out when we we call them, discontinued service secondary to them not upholding their end of the contract. avoid them like the plague, they are dishonest and want you to sign a 2 year contract because they know they service is very poor

Why did I not read these complaints before signing up for these services. I prepaid for pests services & then decided on termite. That was a mistake. I was told one price & my account reflected another. A credit card was taken, but never charged. I sent a ck to Las Vegas. Complete and total harassment. I will be reporting to the BBB

I had rate them 1 star because there was nothing lower. This company is an absolute fraud, stay away from them. They will rope you into fraudulent services and later claim it was a contract. They will not send this agreement to your email to sign. They will claim its not a agreement and they have no cancellation penalties but when you do choose to cancel, they will charge you $150 and claim it was they discount they offered you in the beginning. There is no greater fraud that these people. Run

Stay away from EcoShield. I too wish I had seen the reviews prior to "signing" up. The results did not match the expectation. Additionally, the cost is extremely high for the service provided. There were several instances where they did not show up when scheduled, claimed they provided treatment yet they simply sat in their truck at the top of the street, and were far short of promises made with regards to what would be provided. I tried to cancel however, they are holding me to a 24 month clause which, if I try to cancel, I will have to pay any discounts received for the services provided. However, they are not able to tell me the exact penalty. Additionally, if you leave the contract open for the 24 month but cancel any/all appointments, they claim you are responsible for a 9 visit minimum (which is not written in any of the paperwork I was provided). I'm sure there are better alternatives. Follow up: Spent extensive time with multiple reps about waiving the "cancellation fee". They would not support! Bottom line, they have found a way to basically renege on their so called "discounts"....basically saying they can come back and charge you the discount they originally agreed upon. Again, find a better solution than EcoShield.

The service was mediocre. They did not come as often as they said they would. Even if they don't come, you still get charged. You will also get charged a termination fee as well. All they want is more money with less work. TERRIBLE!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

I regret that I cannot recommend this company due to several negative experiences. Initially, their communication was notably poor. They failed to appear for a scheduled service in November without prior notification. When I reached out, they mentioned the service person fell ill, which is understandable, but they failed to inform me or reschedule proactively. Further complicating matters, a few days later, I discovered through my home camera that a service person was unexpectedly spraying the exterior of my home. This was done without my consent and ignored my request for interior service. Moreover, the service was performed in the rain, raising questions about its effectiveness. Upon contacting the company, the response was dismissive, and they did not acknowledge the breach of the agreement. I firmly stated that I would not pay for a service I did not authorize. Despite my clear communication, the company has persistently contacted me for payment. My refusal is based on the service being unauthorized and not meeting my requests. Today, I received a message threatening to involve a third-party collections agency. This experience, combined with their overall poor reviews, leads me to believe this company is more focused on unearned financial gain rather than providing quality pest control services. Their approach is unprofessional and lacks customer respect. Therefore, I strongly advise against using their services.
