The initial service was great. About 8 months later, I ran into some unexpected expenses and could no longer justify the price. I canceled well before my next service date. They have since sent me to collections for the full amount. Why would I pay for someone NOT to do service? If I wanted to pay, why would I cancel the service? This is terrible customer service. Why not just be happy I paid for the services you provided and then hope to get me back as a customer next time, which I gladly would have done.

I feel that I was scammed. The salesman made it seem that this was a short commitment and I was getting a great discount. He never mentioned that this was a two year contract. When I found out after trying to cancel any further service, 4 months later, they told me I would have to wait up to March which was close to a year when I could stop the service. March is here and they are now telling me I have to pay $300 if I cancel. No one stands to their word and I am super mad at this company. I know I am not the only one going through this. Run as fast as you can from this company Ecoshield. They are scammers!

The technicians that came to my house were kind, knowledgeable and professional. Absolutely no complaints about them. I made a mistake regarding my contract, I signed up for 4 sessions a year. After I completed these (or so I thought) I requested to cancel for further service. I had only had 3 of the 4 appointments done. ECOSHIELD demanded I pay the remaining balance immediately. I tried to make another appointment to complete the contract but they refused to do so and threatened to send me to collection. I would have completed the contract had they let me. They were more interested in getting my money than provide the promised service.

I have been using Echoshield Pest control for almost 2 years. We had a quarterly treatment contract. I should have paid closer attention. Recently we had cameras installed. I was alerted that a vehicle had pulled into our driveway at 10:31. They sat in their truck until 10;36. They got out with a long dust rod and knocked on my front door. I did not answer. They proceeded to walk around my house holding this duster while texting. Seriously, just holding it. Didn’t touch my house with it. Then they sprayed a little here and there. Then got a container of granulated material in a 3 cup sized container and dumped it on my lawn in various random spots. All while stopping and standing there texting. They were back in their truck by 10:43 but proceeded to again sit in my driveway until 10:54. After that I called the customer service to cancel service. I was not offered any discount on that service and was told I needed to pay the full amount of 179.14 in order to cancel my service. Do not use these people. Reported to BBB.

This company is absolute garbage. I had a door-to-door salesman show up to my house, he claimed that one of my neighbors had called because of a rat/rodent issue in the neighborhood so they would be offering rat/rodent removal to the whole block at a discounted rate this week. I said sure, better to be proactive and especially if there's a discount. The salesman then signed me up for a monthly or bi-monthly spider/pest spray service. After I realized that I had been lied to I tried to cancel this service and thats where all hell broke loose. The customer service at this company is worse than trying to get Cable TV installed! They didn't cancel my service right away and now they're trying to bill me for an extra service that never happened. They don't seem to have any internal notes because I have had Text, Phone and Email conversations with 20 different people from their company to explain the situation and each time it ends with "OK, sorry for all of the confusion here - I will get rid of this balance due and we will stop reaching out" - And then a day or two later I'll get Calls, Texts and Emails from them - it's getting to the point of harassment now. They lied me into a service to start and are making it impossible to resolve at the end, this is just a company you should not give your hard earned money to

If I could give a zero I would. they came around with a door to door sales pitch and talked us into a treatment and a plan. Once they finished I realized this was too expensive and there was no realized benefit. I asked to drop the service and they are now pursuing us for a large termination fee. I am not paying and suggest you look elsewhere for a local service that actually works.

I 100% echo the comments and complaints made on all the other 1-star reviews. Long story short, DO NOT hire them, if you do, they will become the “pest control” you need to exterminate!

From beginning to end, this was a hassle. Every person I have talked or messaged is more worried about being right and "trying" to put blame on the customer, than fixing an actual issue. There is a reason it is contract only! You will have to buy your way out! We've had 3 visits from them, 2 on schedule, 1 follow-up. Called for the free follow-up cause we were finding brown recluses randomly through out our house, so we wanted them to take care of that... that was 3 months ago, still have the same problem to this day and never saw a difference after the follow up. If i called to do a follow up to take care of specifically brown recluses, I EXPECT THEM TO DO WHAT WAS ASKED. Today they ask me since it's the scheduled time if I wanted them to spray the inside... so I told them I no longer require their services since I'm paying to have the same problem. They responded and argued with me about a "misunderstanding" on my part, all because "black widows and brown recluses arent part of the general package, thats an extra charge".....13 MESSAGES LATER, it's crystal clear to see they don't care about the customer, just money, typical. They should have listened, understood, and acted to the very first message I sent, not sending me a picture of the contract that I ALREADY HAVE printed and in a file cabinet at my house. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. **0 out of 10** **DO NOT RECOMMEND**
