Eco Shield Pest ControlReviews of ecoshieldpest.com

Don't sign anything with this company! They don't even know what their contacts say. They would've let me cancel my contract after 15 months because they said I hadn't had 12 services. That means that they missed 3 services and the contract states 12 months. They can't even read their own contracts!

These guys suck. Kid came around with hard sell and promised discounts on my service. I said I’d give them a shot. Day one of service - guy showed up three hours late - I had company in my backyard and he still wanted to spray. Not happening/ next scheduled appointment was a no show- no call no tech - I called yet again to complain- finally reached my breaking point - they said I was on the hook for $150 - I said I’ll take that as a lesson

They came to my door. They said they’re popular among neighbors and do a lot of local work. It was very convincing, they offered a “regular discount”. I realized after it was a scam, and was able to change my card number. I called their support to tell them to cancel the service, and it sounded like an Indian call center. Someone still showed up and started “brushing cob webs” off the side of my house until I told him I cancelled.

I would give zero stars if possible. They continued to charge me for SIX months after I closed my account. And called non-stop to the point of harassment. And then sent my account to collections. WORST COMPANY EVER

TERRIBLE SERVICE - I had been happy with their insect control service, so I signed up for their wildlife service. I met with a rep who had me sign an agreement on their phone before he placed any traps. But, after a bit, it was clearly not working. So another tech came out a few weeks later. It was still not working a week or so later. Then another tech came out and determined no one had ever baited the traps. He was very upset and said he would notify management. I was still charged for 3 visits ($450) and no credit was ever provided. A few months later (and many more charges), I was noticing that the traps had not been touched and no service techs appeared on my security cameras. I called to complain and they sent me forms alleging service was being provided as scheduled. I took them at their word and met the reps for the next few appts. During one of these meetings with their service tech, I asked them to added traps and be sure to bait them. But one or two appts later, I notice raccoons had torn the traps open. I took picture to send them. But a day later, they had a regular service call scheduled. So, I figured they would replace the traps. Instead, the traps had not been replaced or even moved. It was clear no one ever showed up. BUT - I was charged for the service ($150), which was clearly never done. When I called to complain and provided photo documentation that no service was provided, they offered a 50% discount - FOR SERVICE THEY DID NOT DO.

Hidden fees. They will lie to you. And once you try to ask about the billing they will procrastinate so you can pass the 150 day mark and put you in collections. Service was halfway done since day one. Customer service is horrible once they have your card on file. Do not recomend this business unless you want to fall in their trap. Their services made no difference!

Walked around the neighborhood claiming neighbors were customers, and when talking to neighbors that we were customers.

Ecoshield missed appointments. was not timely in responding to hornet and ant issues. upon trying to cancel service the customer service representative would not cancel service negotiating high cancellation fee and requiring additional service visits. really poor customer experience. Switched to Orkin and already having a much better experience.
