I changed over to EcoShield because they claimed to treat for more services than I was currently paying. The price was higher, but the salesman said that after the first two visits, I could change from bi monthly to quarterly. After the first 2 visits, I called to change to quarterly, and that plan does not exist. I said fine, you broke the contract that I was promised, so cancel me. They wanted to cancel and charge me a "cancellation fee" even though they lied. If you see the EcoShield truck .... run away fast. And be a good neighbor and warn them away as well.

First, pressured solicitation at my door. Second, their products do not work. Third, the quarterly fee turned into two bills, back-to-back and when you cancel, they charge a $150.00 "discount refund". This company is a rip-off. I am filing with the BBB and the Attorney General for their unethical business practices. Save yourself the trouble and don't use this company.

Eco Shield is dishonest. I signed up for their services when I was a homeowner in Topeka, Kansas. I sold my home and moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Despite the fact KCK is in their service territory, they refused to provide the final treatment. Then they billed me and when I refused to pay -- since they had not provided the final service -- they sent me to a collections agency. This remains unresolved. STAY CLEAR OF THESE SHYSTERS! I hope my bad experience saves some other poor soul.

Careful with this company, they initial talk nicely and asked to sign without proper explanation, if tried to cancel, they start talking about contract and asked to pay back initial discount $150. Also he did sprayed, it did not impact anything at all.

EcoShield is a rip off!!! Does not work. What Ecoshield sprays seems to be water. (Ecofriendly) Come back several times spraying same weak solution expecting different results. Customer support is horrible. Requested management to call me when I finally talked to a real person and no response. Canceled contract and Ecoshield still trying to charge me for something that does not work.

My husband signed a contract with the agreement that he had three days to resend and get all of his money back we did we sent by FedEx the signature saying we decided not to use this company and they will not refund our money. The woman said they will not charge us For The additional $200 that was the original price of the Initial treatment… That they had discounted that treatment down to 150 but we were obligated to pay for that. My husband read her, the wordage On the contract, he sign which said that you have three business days to cancel and get all of your money back… She said they are keeping the 150 but they will let us out of the contract.

I only realized I had been enrolled in a recurring service when I started receiving text messages about upcoming appointments. I was shocked and felt deceived, as I never agreed to this. Despite my efforts to dispute this with EcoShield, they refused to waive any penalty fee, even though their representative clearly misled me. I want to warn others about this company’s deceptive practices. Be cautious and read all the fine print before agreeing to anything, as they were unwilling to address this situation fairly.
