Be Aware! Must make multiple attempts to cancel a service that does not work. They will tell you that you can't cancel until your 18 month contract is up. I was told as I was walked through the sign up app with the sales person that there was no timed contract, that I could cancel at any time without any penalty at all. That was probably partly my fault for letting him rush me through instead of reading everything on the app. Paid a discounted cancellation fee to get rid of them and get a text that my next service is scheduled. Wait, what? Call and was told oh, no you have to call again to cancel, another department that tried to high pressure me to stay. Ridiculous waste of customers time! I hope they really cancelled this time because if I have to do this again, I am calling the AG and contacting an attorney. This company is like mud in the face, sticks and hard to get rid of and hires liars to gain service! Plus I still have a spider problem and had to deal with an ant infestation that I have never had before. Never had these issues with my other pest company which I will be going back to because they are honest and don't waste my time.

If your thinking about using EcoShield for your home, DON'T DO IT. Services started off great as I just wanted to reduce the bugs/nest around my home. After a few months they offered a "free inspection" that was part of my service agreement. During this inspection I was told I had a problem with mice in my attic that has been going on for "a few years" and would be about $1800 to $10,000 to rectify depending on how I wanted to address it. Decided to get both a 2nd and 3rd opinion both of which said no such thing. 2nd opinion said they found NO EVIDENCE of mice. I don't appreciate the attempt to scam me and requested a cancellation of my service agreement. This led to a 20 minute conversation of trying to convince me to stay with them and offering to provide services for cheaper. Why weren't services cheaper before this??? Why was it not until I mentioned the $10,000 quote did the solutions team become desperate to retain me as a customer? In order to end my service agreement EcoShield informed me there was a $300 charge. So you tried to scam me, then think I should remain a customer, and then believe I should pay $300. Pay attention to the fine print. By subscribing you are agreeing to pay for all of your services for a year even if they do you wrong. Don't walk, RUN, from this company!

We give EcoShield Pest Solutions in Richmond, VA, 0 for their service. Since the beginning when they started the Service in August 7, 2024 their service and the company proved themselves being dishonest and conniving. We had a time schedule for the initial treatment, the service guy showed up 15 minutes earlier prior to the appt., without my being present, then statting that he did everything in those 15 minutes, berfore I came home. However, when I called Alberto, the 19 yr. old sales person who give a good sales "spiel"stated the the initial treatment should have been 45 minutes and was suppose do a follow, which was another nightmare with no show as it continued there after. They made the apptointments, notifying via email and text, but never showed up. There was always somekind of excuse. Even today, 11/25/24, Christine C., the manager was trying to cover up, why no one bothered calling me, the customer that the service person would not show up at the scheduled time. They don't have the courtesy to call the customer at all that they rescheduled. Frustrated delealing with these connivers!

DO NOT get their services, if you just get it from the guy at your door, Please cancel with in 3 days. Their door sales man just lied to you and you will regret their service for the rest of your contract terms. and if you want to cancel it with in your terms, it will be so much pain in the butt. I wish i have seen some of the post b4, that is why I am writing this just one person that may see this. Maybe I can save him from this scam. There are more honest companies out there than they are.

Horrible and a straight scam! I had a man come to my house and give me the great intro in how they work and all I have to do is pay a fee of $189 and it would cover me for over a few months and I could cancel anytime. That was a lie. As soon as I signed the man stated I would have to pay again to have them come out after I just paid $189! He was like oh, I'm sorry I didn't mention that, I'm like wth! Right away I should have known. Still have a insect problem, then when I stated that I want to cancel, now I being charged $200!? Are you serious?! That was never told to me. Yes, its partly my fault for not reading the whole contract and actually trusting a company to do what they say with no scams. Horrible. Now I have a balance over $300!!! Seriously a joke. So disappointed! I will also leave reviews on every platform I can!

Never use this service! They're dishonest and literally came out right after I told them I moved from this service. Sent in paperwork to show my new address but still I was billed!

I regret signing gup with this company. It is too expensive, even though they tell you visit is free if you pay the quarter's fees, you pay an extra amount each time someone comes out. I called to complain the hornets were still there and getting bigger and they came out to spray and charged another visit. I thought I was signing up for the summer next thing I'm told it's a year contract and if I want out I have to pay 150$. Customer service were rude. one of the worst things I've got myself into
