Good luck trying to cancel your contract, even if you fulfill your obligation you will be stuck in a timeless phone loop with (nice) reps in the Philippines who have no authority to cancel your contract. The Solution Team is impossible to get to, with calls literally just ringing and ringing, emails and texts that come through to say call them to discuss the issue, where you are again stuck in the phone loop of death. Even a personal visit to a local office I was met with (nice) folks who have no authority to cancel contracts. What??? Do not waste your time, it is quite clear this company doesn't care about its customers. Stay clear!

Not worth the money
Not worth the money. Had to deal with their billing department even though I paid for a full year in advance. Make sure you are not over charged. What a mistake. They come and go so fast I dont see how they adequately do the job. HIgh pressure sales and horrible. Think twice.

Not happy with the service
We gave this company a chance and right away they failed, they did not provide the initial service offered and charged for. Imaging the first impression being bad we had cameras and saw that they did not do what they said they would do, they sent someone else to complete the initial service. We spoke with the salesman and gave them another chance, a couple of months have gone by allowing them to provide service, they seem to forget that we have cameras and each time we reviewed our footage it showed a lackluster service. We cancelled our service with them and they actually charged us for cancelling. It is better to use a more established company more reputable than this one. It was a learning experience.

🚨 Beware of EcoShield – A Scam to Infiltrate Your Home, Not Protect It
🚨 Beware of EcoShield – A Scam to Infiltrate Your Home, Not Protect It 🚨
I can categorically say that my home is now more at risk than before EcoShield came. Their goal isn’t pest control but creating infestations to pressure customers into paying thousands of dollars.
1. Deceptive Pricing & Contract Scams
They advertise $138 every two months, but this is misleading.
They locked me into a contract without clear terms and later falsely claimed I signed it when the inspector came, even though I agreed over the phone before anyone visited.
When I called to cancel, they demanded $380, saying it was the cost of the initial service, which was just a 10-minute attic check and a $9,000 sales pitch.
They ask for reviews before doing any work, which makes me question their 6,500+ Google reviews (check Yelp, where their rating is 1.5 stars).
2. Lack of Professionalism & Useless Service
I called EcoShield after seeing mice in my kitchen—something we never experienced in four years.
We sealed access points and saw no further activity, but I wanted an expert to inspect and secure my home.
The technician sat in his car for 20 minutes, then walked in with traps, doing no real inspection.
Instead of identifying entry points or advising on prevention, he placed traps in the same places we already had traps—without any inspection.
3. The “Inspection” Was a Complete Scam
The inspector arrived later and went directly to the attic—the only place they mentioned when I first called.
He never checked the basement or kitchen, where the only proven activity had been.
After 10 minutes in the attic, he suddenly claimed we had an "infestation" that had been going on for years (which makes no sense given that we’ve had no activity for four years) and pushed a $9,000 treatment.
No traps were placed in the attic, despite him claiming it was infested.
He did not mark where he inspected—no proof he looked anywhere else.
Suspiciously, after he left, I noticed broken drywall pieces near the attic opening, which were NOT there before.
I have no idea what he was doing, but it seemed like he could have been opening access points or weakening barriers inside the walls.
The vague inspection document is attached—he pressured me to initial it without explaining what I was signing.
4. False Advertising & Dangerous Practices
They call themselves "EcoShield" but laid out poisoned traps without warning me.
I have young children, and they never explained the risks.
They refused to treat baseboards or secure entry points, yet claimed they provided pest control.
5. They Leave Your Home More Vulnerable
They removed barriers I placed in the basement and failed to put them back, potentially opening my home to more pests.
New activity started in my bedroom—right where they accessed the attic.
Given their shady tactics, I wouldn’t be surprised if they planted pests to justify their services.
🚨 Final Verdict: Stay Away from EcoShield! 🚨
They don’t inspect, they don’t secure access points, and they don’t do real pest control.
They use scare tactics to upsell overpriced treatments.
They manipulate customers into contracts and hidden fees.
Their glowing Google reviews are misleading—check Yelp for the real truth!
🚨 If you are looking for legitimate pest control, DO NOT use EcoShield. They are nothing more than a high-pressure sales scam.

Good luck cancelling
Services went well and worked. However, after my agreed to 5 or 6 visits were concluded I called to ensure we'd completed our contract.
I three times asked for verbal confirmation and noticed evasive language each time. Not trusting them at this point, I called again a week or so later, again, no confirmation of completion of services.
They simply wouldn't confirm that we had finished. A week later I get an email reminding me of my upcoming service. A third phone call. 20 minutes of repeating myself later, and I'm finished with them. Never again.

I'd give zero starts if I could
I'd give zero starts if I could. Do not sign a contract with these people. I wish I had read yelp prior to signing up for their service. Read the 1-star reviews. My experience is represented repeatedly. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! They're stealing our money!! When they come to your house, get out and tell your neighbors to tell them to go away. Door to door salesman sells lies.

Violate "no solicitor" sign law in our town
They are constantly going door-to-door in our neighborhood. Not just ringing door bells but beating on the doors. They violate the "no solicitor" sign law in our town and have no respect for people who answer the door. VERY RUDE and invasive sales tactics.

Warning
Warning: Avoid This Company at All Costs!
This company, while masquerading as a legitimate pest control service provider, engages in highly predatory and fraudulent business practices that exploit unsuspecting consumers. Below is a detailed account of their unethical operations, which serve as a warning to the general public:
Predatory Tactics
Fraudulent Sign-Up Process:
They visit your home under the guise of offering pest control services and fraudulently persuade you to sign up.
They claim to offer a "special discount" because they’re supposedly working in your neighborhood, creating a false sense of urgency.
Deceptive Contract Practices:
They convince you that you’re signing up for a one-time service, but in reality, they lock you into an annual contract without fully disclosing the terms.
Contracts are signed on handheld electronic devices, making it difficult for consumers to review hidden clauses.
Unethical Billing Practices:
They send electronic receipts stating you must cancel within three days, or the contract will automatically bind you for a year. This timeframe is intentionally short to trap unsuspecting consumers.
They perform pest control services without your explicit consent or presence and later send you an inflated bill, claiming they completed the work.
Financial Coercion
When you try to cancel their service, they impose hefty fines for attempting to breach the contract.
They threaten collection actions if you refuse to pay after 72 days, leveraging fear and intimidation to extract money.
Reputation and Complaints
They have an abysmal reputation with numerous complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and other consumer advocacy platforms.
Previous clients report identical issues, confirming a pattern of deceptive and predatory practices.
Call to Action
This company’s tactics are not just unethical but potentially illegal. Their fraudulent operations should be reported to local authorities, consumer protection agencies, and state regulatory bodies.
If you or someone you know has been victimized, consider filing complaints with:
The BBB
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
Your state’s Attorney General's office
Conclusion
This company preys on consumers by exploiting trust and manipulating contracts. They engage in deceptive practices that could leave you financially burdened and frustrated. Do not fall victim to their schemes—spread the word to protect others in your community.
