Fixed a long running corrupted company file problem for us. Took a little longer than promised, but they kept us informed and helped us in the end. Clear and respectful communication throughout. Responsive to our many calls. Lost about six hours work while they worked on it, but upgraded our QB software to 2024 version from 2021 version and gave us more memory for the company file at the same time so we won't incur further problems going forward, we hope.

Googled for Quickbooks assistance and mistakenly thought I had reached Quickbooks Intuit only to find out later (when receiving an invoice) that was not the case. I needed help logging in to Quickbooks after upgrading the software on my Mac. I called in and spoke with Jay. Looking back on the interaction I should have seen the red flags. Jay did not ask me for any of my Quickbooks information. I googled beforehand several fixes for my issue but was afraid to do them myself which was why I was trying to get Quickbooks support. In the end, Jay said he could solve my problem only by selling me Quickbooks 2024. When he heard I could not pay the $650 necessary he basically played "let’s make a deal" asking me how much I could pay. He spoke with a supervisor who offered 40% off. I was desperate because I had screwed up my husbands Quickbooks account by installing this new software version in his computer and he already was mad he couldn’t log in to Quickbooks and create any invoices. I told Jay I needed to speak with my husband but I really just called back hoping to speak to a different representative. Instead, the other person I spoke to transferred me back to Jay. He again reiterated that there was no way to resolve my issue other than his offer and $390. He created an invoice and that was when I saw it was from Ebetterbooks NOT Quickbooks Intuit. I used my phone to look up a different number for Quickbooks and it was not the number I was using to speak with Jay, 1-855-467-4554. I hung up with Jay and called Quickbooks customer service at 1-800-446-8848. The Quickbooks rep asked for my license number to begin with. She got me to the dept I needed AND RESOLVED MY ISSUE AT NO COST. Shame on you “Jay" number 1008
