I wanted to share my honest experience…
I wanted to share my honest experience booking through EazyFares. The folks working at EazyFares are helpful and will take time to listen to your needs and will help get you the flights and routes you need for your travel. The cost was very comparable to Travelocity and Priceline, so there wasn't any savings, except that they told me that included in their price was the flexibility to change the flight if needed, so I decided to book through them. If you don't have to make changes to your flight for any reason, then it shouldn't matter much, however if you do, then that's where the issue is. I didn't realize this until I had to make a change to the flight ticket. The only downside to booking with EazyFares is that when you need to make changes to your flight tickets, you will have to contact EazyFares to do so and you can't do this directly with the airline on their website or by calling them, because of this, you might shell more $$$ than you anticipate. I was aware of the fees (Change Fee, Service Fee and Fare Difference). They told me that the Fare Difference was $223.94 and Penalty was $69, (total $292.94), so I agreed to pay. However, when I saw the charges on my card, I found something fishy. The Airline charges on my card was $10.10 (which might be the Fare Difference, I assume), but there was another charge on my credit card as an Agent Fee which was $292.94. If the Fare Difference was $223.94 as I was told, then the Airline charges on my card should have been $223.94 and the Agent Fee should have been $69, but they made a mistake in using my card to pay the airlines for the Fare Difference, I suppose, and then charged my card the total ($292.94) separately. If they would have only made one charge of $292.94) then I wouldn't have found this out. First of all, I was charged $10.10 extra (to pay the airline). It was such a small amount that I didn't bother to call them to dispute it. But this made me think that you will never know if the agent is telling you the truth about the Fare Difference, because you are at the mercy of what EazyFares agent tells you, in my case, they apparently charged me $213.84 more ($223.94 - $10.10 = $213.84). So folks, if you think that you are getting a good deal when booking with them, think twice or do so at your own risk. I had no choice but to use them to change the flight tickets as I couldn't do it directly with the airlines unfortunately. Will I use them in the future? Yes, I would if the price they quote me for certain flight ticket is way better than Travelocity or Priceline or any other travel booking sites. In my case, the savings that I thought I was getting was the flexibility to change the flight tickets (because I wanted to have this flexibility), but it ended up costing more or charged more!
