Terrible experience — major itinerary change with no notice and no support when my family needed help
when something went wrong, the airline and EazyFares redirected you to each other, leaving your family without anyone taking responsibility. Avoid EazyFares — No One Takes Responsibility When Your Trip Goes Wrong I had an extremely disappointing experience with EazyFares and would not recommend using them for international travel, especially when traveling with children. I booked tickets through EazyFares for my wife and our two daughters, ages 8 and 11, traveling from Hyderabad, India to Dallas, USA. Our original confirmed itinerary was HYD → BOM → CDG → DFW. One of the most confusing parts of this booking was that the ticket involved different airline names — the flight could be booked/marketed under one airline but actually operated by another airline. When problems started, this became a nightmare because it was unclear who was actually responsible for helping us. There were flight delays and a major last-minute itinerary change. Instead of the expected Paris-to-Dallas connection, my wife and children were rerouted HYD → BOM → CDG → JFK → DFW, creating an additional connection in New York and making an already long international journey much more difficult. The worst part was trying to get help. When we contacted the airline, we were told that because the ticket was purchased through EazyFares, we needed to contact the travel vendor. When we contacted EazyFares, we were told to contact the airline. So who was actually responsible for helping the passenger? We were essentially sent back and forth between EazyFares and the airlines, while my wife was traveling internationally with two young children and dealing with delays, itinerary changes, airport transfers and baggage issues. At JFK, they also discovered that one of their three checked bags was missing and had been left behind in Paris. This added even more stress after an already exhausting and disrupted journey. I understand that EazyFares does not control airline operations, flight delays or baggage handling. But when you sell an international ticket, customers should be able to expect proper communication and assistance when their booking is disrupted. Instead, our experience was that responsibility kept being passed between the airline and EazyFares. Based on this experience, I would rather book directly on the airline’s official website, even if it costs a little more. At least there is a direct relationship with the airline, and when a booking needs to be changed or something goes wrong, there is less confusion about who is responsible for handling the ticket. A cheaper fare is not worth the stress of being stuck between a travel vendor and multiple airlines when your family is already in the middle of an international journey. I would not use EazyFares again, and I strongly recommend that travelers carefully consider booking directly with the airline instead. One star based on our experience.

Hi Garimella, we’re truly sorry to hear about the difficulties your family experienced during this journey. We completely understand how stressful an unexpected itinerary change, delays, baggage issues, and uncertainty around assistance can be—especially when traveling internationally with young children. While airline operations and baggage handling are outside our direct control, we understand your concern about having to navigate between the airline and travel agency for support. Your experience clearly did not meet the level of service we aim to provide. We would appreciate the opportunity to review the booking and understand exactly what happened at each stage so we can investigate the communication and support provided. Please reach out to our customer support team with your booking details so our team can look into this personally. Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry we fell short of your expectations and hope we can learn from this experience.
