So grateful for MWLA
Where do I even begin?! I came across Jackie and MWLA on Instagram. I had a call to learn more about the program. For the first time in a long time, I felt hope that I might finally be able to fix my relationship with food but to be honest, there was still so much doubt that I would be able to do it. Four months later, I’m officially down 10lbs, which I haven’t been able to do on my own in years. But, there’s so much more than that - I don’t have the constant food noise that I used to. I don’t have the regular feeling of shame and disappointment after binge eating or “falling off the wagon” yet again. My mental health is better and I feel like I have finally learned how to actually nourish my body properly - all without having to count and track calories, which was so annoying for me and something I thought I would have to do the entire time I was trying to lose weight. All of this couldn’t have come at a better time too. I truly feel like I was meant to join MWLA exactly when I did. Just under a month after joining, I got a pretty scary health diagnosis that brought a lot of fear and anxiety with it. If I didn’t have MWLA, I know that I would have completely spiraled and binged from the stress of it all. But the program, community and my coach Kacey really helped me stay grounded and focused on my goal. I’m so grateful that everything worked out as it did. If you’re thinking about joining the program, I say just do it. It’s four months - a very doable commitment. And, it’s not some quick, temporary fix. It’s an investment in your future self and in your health. It’s the opportunity to learn how to truly change your habits, which I believe is the only way for lasting, sustainable change. I can’t say enough good things about Jackie and MWLA and highly recommend!
