EasellyReviews of easel.ly

I own a small online store, and Easel.ly has helped me create engaging product visuals and promotional banners without needing Photoshop. I love how everything is customizable and clean. It has definitely helped us improve conversions and engagement.

If i could give it a 0 I would. Honestly just terrible experience and website. Tried to use the website for an assignment. It is pretty easy to use at first and worked. When I submitted my shareable link for a homework assignment for whatever reason the graphic just would not work anymore. I could not view, edit, download, or share my graphic. Tried contacting customer service numerous times over the span of a week. Got no response from them for about a week until today (7/16/2025). Talked to someone on the phone and was ultimately told my graphic was unusable and I would have to redo my entire graphic for an assignment that was way overdue. Will not use again. Use Canva or any other graphic design websites, they would work better than this.

Nice software when it works, really nice when it works. Problem is that it never works. Some icons regularly crash the site, it wont display properly on a second screen and now I can not see my completed work. Also customer support never both getting back to fix stuff. Use Canva these guys don't have the resources to be working at this level.

*update* 4/14: after several calls I made and left a few VMs, I got a notification that they set up a refund. They didn’t communicate with me or called me back or emailed… other than the automatic email I got for this potential refund. Now i will wait & see if i do get the refund. If I do, I am glad that they heard my concerns. I guess that’s a good sign! I was charged for another year after I had cancelled my subscription with them over the phone last year. I thought everything was confirmed but I was wrong! I was charged again a few days ago. And have tried to contact them several times over the phone and I’ve sent them emails about this with no response yet. How are we supposed get in contact with them for customer support when no one is there to help?

I paid for the student access to the website but could not log into the site to create my assignment after i was charged for a year when i saw a month of 4 dollars. How do i go about my refund? Since i can't even use the website.

Disgraceful practice, cannot cancel this subscription at all. Had to redo my password and now that ive done that cannot get into the site. So tried do another password reset but wont sent confirmation email to allow cancellation. Id so love to be face to face with the people who are doing this!!!!

I subscribed to easel.ly with my student email and it worked great at first. After my 7 day money-back period ended it started glitching and deleting parts of my assignment. I tried 3 different browsers, 2 different computers and even dumped my cashe... still kept deleting parts of my work. I searched for a history log to help me and anything in the help menu and found nothing. The customer agent in the chat was friendly but told me that I was not eligible to get my money back. I am very regretful I subscribed because I am a Canadian student, was charged more for the dollar exchange, and now am back to my same free service at my university where I started... minus a pile of money. Despite only using the service briefly, and nearly missing my deadline, I was not refunded. I recommended to the lab at my university but after my supervisor saw that I did not get my money back we are definitely not going with this service. I am presenting my experience with the service in January with our lab as to whether we should use this for our poster presentations. We will not.

Unethical billing practices - As others have stated, there is a light version that is free, but to do most things you have to pay. The price is not a lot, but they will continue to bill you year after year, regardless of whether you are an active user and do not give you any notice of an upcoming charge. So like many others, you might need it one time for one application, make the purchase and then forget about it because it's not a part of your daily routine, then 11 months later you're charged again. They are banking on you not noticing or not caring about the hit enough to pick a fight with them. It is companies like these that are why I now cancel my cards once per year and get a new card, so they are not able to continue to do this.
