Hello Hartluck, We're very sorry to hear about this issue! You should not be experiencing such problem with any of our tips and we want to help arrange a new packet right away. Please email us at [email protected] so that we can confirm shipping information. In the case that the oval orientation is difficult to tell, please try to separate the "mounting buckle" and the "memory foam". This way, you may have a better view of the mounting buckle's shape and orientation to your AirPods Pro. Once the mounting buckle is aligned correctly, you should be able to push and securely mount it onto AirPods Pro. And then you can put the memory foam back onto the mounting buckle.
