I ordered these ear plugs after reading other reviews. I am fairly happy but they do not block out all noise as I had wished and hoped. They cut about 60 to 70% but I can still hear him snoring. However, it does make it easier to sleep. Don't really like the fact they are like blue play dough to put in your ears. Better than my original ear plugs by far.

These plugs confrom to every nook of your ears, creating a secure fit and providing ample decibel reduction. So far, I am a fan of these and do not intend to go back to the disposable foam plugs I was previously using. Primary Uses: motorcycle riding and yard work with motorized machinery

The product is excellent. The only bad thing is there is some residue from the ear plugs every morning. Not too much of a big deal. I highly recommend these to anyone.

I have had custom molded ear plugs as well as a long list of plugs to include surefire and of course foam plugs. After my first use of these all others are in my opinion inferior. The comfort and custom fit are second to none. I use them daily when riding my motorcycle and one pair is still going strong after weeks of use.

Maybe meant for people with bigger ears? They are too big and I could barely get them in my ears let alone create a suction. They also leave a weird residue in your fingers. When I purchased them I didn't know it would be like putting play dough in my ears. Definitely not something I can make any use of.

Dear Stephanie: The ear plug is meant for all ages, but one much pinch of whatever material necessary to create the PERFECT size for their individual ear canal. The residue is Pure Lanolin and one must, just prior to insertion, knead or work well between one's fingers, each ear plug for 20 seconds to soften, make moldable and disburse the Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Note! Many women with smaller ear canals do not insert the whole ear plug; for just after they have kneaded the ear plug to make it soft and moldable, they pinch off at least (a third), and insert a smaller ear plug that fits their ear canal better, is more comfortable, seals easier and blocks out better. This can make a big difference, yet you do want to insert enough ear plug material to be able to block out well. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you will notice a big improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.
