I have used these earplugs for 5 years. Before discovering them I was a wreck as I suffer from an extreme noise sensitivity while I m asleep. Even a simple squeak sent my nervous system into panic mode. Now thanks to your amazing, comfortable earplugs I suffer no more! They have changed my life. I now sleep soundly and wake refreshed. I find it worthwhile purchasing these earplugs from the USA as I have problems getting a good seal with foam earplugs owing to my large ear canals. They are usually delivered quickly; however, this time, some idiot decided to change my address from Hunter Street to Hampton Wick. The earplugs did arrive eventually and I hope that this is a one-off occurrence.

These plugs do not block out noise may be ok for stopping water getting into your ears but not noise just threw them out as they were useless

Dear Julianne: Ironically, the ear plug we sent you is the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG IN THE WORLD, but it has to be prepared and inserted correctly. If you can retrieve them, then follow these instructions and you will be 'shocked' at how well they block out. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you will notice a big improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

I have tried many other ear plugs but found I usually ended up removing them in my sleep due to discomfort. These ones on the other hand are comfortable and block out external sounds better than anything else I have used (traffic noise, neighbors late night bongo playing etc.). I follow the instructions and have had no problem with fit or with them coming apart. Yes they are blue, look like play dough and smell a bit like lanolin. Also they block noise very well but can't work miracles (i.e. if I am snoring very loudly my wife can still hear me sometimes if she is wearing them). I was a bit skeptical in terms of buying these unseen over the internet and having them shipped to Australia but I had I absolutely no issues. I highly recommend them and have been using them successfully for over 3 years now.

The ear plugs broke up when trying to get them out of my ear. The ear plug was not as good as the plug I was using previously.

Oh Sue: I'm not sure how you managed to break apart the ear plugs. That is not easy to do. Being soft and moldable, it is wise when removing, to simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb and index finger and gently pull down and out. Please be alert and not careless or in a great rush when removing the ear plug. Most sincerely Mary-BPI customer service and a very satisfied nightly wearer for 12 years.

I've been married for 28 years and my husband has snored for all of them. I finally tried wearing ear plugs so that I could sleep. I have tried dozens of ear plugs. Every shape and size and none of them compare to the Worlds Finest Ear Plugs. I wake up refreshed and I don't hear him snore. I refer everyone I know that needs them.
