Dear Laurie: Thank you for taking the time and effort to tell us of your experience. We know and use this fine ear plug ourselves. We can easily put your mind at ease. Our "all natural" ear plug made from Beeswax is soft, moldable and has pure Lanolin in it. Lanolin is good for human skin and nurtures it. The purpose of the Lanolin is to intentionally make the ear plug slightly "tacky" so that it stays securely in the ear canal and BLOCKS OUT MUCH. For the first one or two times wearing the Lanolin may seem a bit tackier, yet by the 3rd wearing, the tackiness will have been reduced substantially, yet still be effective. Laurie, please don't give up on this fine reusable ear plug. Please give it a (fair test) to do what it does best, BLOCKING OUT! Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Dear customer: We couldn't find any of our customers with the name "Kaka", yet that still doesn't take away the importance of your review and experience. Kaka, our ear plug is made from Beeswax, and when after first kneading it between your fingers and hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft and moldable, it is very very important that one inserts it (correctly). With the tip of your index finger, you must push and flatten a bit firmly, IN and AGAINST your ear opening (UNTIL YOU FEEL THE EAR PLUG SEAL YOUR EAR.) When you insert the ear plug like I described above, you will notice that it will block out ALL, IF NOT ALMOST ALL SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!! Kaka, try again and insert our ear plug (correctly. You'll notice a huge improvement; and then afterwards if you feel the need; please amend your review. Your success is important to us, so if you need more help, please feel free to call or write our office.
