I really needed some better earplugs and read that these were the best. They are the WORSE ones I ever tried!
I went back to the others I had and they work SO much better.

Very Happy I Tried These
I ordered the trial pack of 2. For many nights I tried 1 in each ear, and was disappointed. They didn't seal, and they kept falling out. Then I read somewhere about using 1/2 a plug in each ear. SUCCESS!
They block out quite a bit of noise, not all, but I am happy.
I have to agree with other reviews about the blue residue left in your ears in the morning. I have to remind myself to clean out my ears.

Very good product!
I am a senior swimmer...lots of floating, water aerobics, some light lap work, swimming ~4x a week for two hours each. Being a senior, I cannot take chances with water-in-the-ear, or issues that come from getting water in the ear canal every swim. These plugs are perfect.
I have tiny ear canals, but the putty-texture of these plugs make it easy to push it in as far as I need, and I get a wonderful seal that has not let a drop in. Removing is very easy; the little storage container they send with the order is convenient. I bought the pack of 8 plugs, only used one so far...one plug is a good for both ears. I have already gotten the value of them, plus the comfort in keeping my ears dry as long as I want to swim.
I HIGHLY recommend these plugs!

No contest, they are THE BEST.
Over the years I have used them all . . be they foam, silicone, custom fitted, and everything else that's out there, these natural earplugs are by far THE BEST.
They have the right amount of tack to adhere and stay put, important if like me you use plugs every time you sleep, you do not want them coming off after only a couple of hours and getting lost somewhere in your bedding.
I just wish they were priced better as you can buy a box of 200 foam plugs for the price of a dozen of these.

it is like putting gum in your ear and once you obtain a seal & release your finger there is barely any noise blockage--would not buy again

If the ear plugs are ((sealing)) your ear canals as you report, then you should have noticed almost total SILENCE and significant noise blockage.
Jim, we are a 100% completely 'transparent' company, for we post ALL REVIEWS, whether they be positive of negative. You may have noticed from the previous reviews, that almost all customers experience almost total sound blockage.
Don't give up on this ear plug! Keep inserting it to where it surely (SEALS) the ear canals. When that is completed, you will be pleasantly shocked at how much sound is blocked out. Please keep me informed or better yet, just phone the office and we will walk you through inserting the ear plug while on the phone.
I wear them too and I know that this magnificent ear plug WORKS!

Paid $9 for Play Doh
So initially these took 4 weeks to arrive which I wasn't happy with.
When they arrived I realised that it's basically just Play Doh :/ two small balls of play doh which I think including postage cost me around $15 AUD
The insertion instructions were wack, you should role into a sausage with one end small enough to fit into your ear canal place the small end about 7mm into your ear canal and push some of the material into the opening hold until a seal is formed then mould the remainder around the putter ear for a firm seal, I cut mine in half the whole ones were just to big.
They leave a residue in the ear and aren't very comfortable my hair sticks to them.
Lastly my partner snores like a train rolling past my head, these earplugs quietened the sound enough so I could ignor him and sleep. I could still hear him though.
They're not comfortable the service isn't great from this company and they make my ears yucky but they do work to an extent all in all I wouldn't buy them again.

Dear Charlie:
1. We shipped out your order of the One pair Sample Pack the very next day that it arrived. Orders going to Australia traveling by the postal service, with detainment in Australian Customs Dept., usually take from 14-21 days to arrive to the customer.
2. The insertion instructions were in English. We are sorry that you could not understand them. We should have sent them to you in Australian, mate!
3. Cutting the ear plug in half is for the size of the ear canal of a 10 year old. It's too small to block out much.
As on the instruction card that came with your order: just prior to insertion, one must (work or knead) the ear plugs between one's fingers for at least 10-15 seconds to make the ear plug soft, mouldable, and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way& insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a huge .improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.

Best I have tried.
I am such a light sleeper it is not funny and to top it off I have a partner that snores and I work shift work. All not a good combination.
After trying many earplugs and moving into a spare bed room I realized I needed to find some plugs that would work for our up coming 8 week holiday in Canada.
I purchased these plugs and had a wonderful holiday, back in bed with my partner and nothing wakes me.
When you first try these I would persevere for a few weeks. I only use 1 plug, broken into 2 so half in each ear. Make SURE you get a good seal, and believe me if you do get it right you will sleep so well.
