Sticky, not what I was looking for
Earplugs are sticky and did not fully shape to my ears, leaving gaps. Maybe they would work for someone else.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsOct 14, 2015
Dear Jennifer: No maybes about it!!! They work perfectly for us and over 5 million daily wearers around the world. They will work for you!!! IF you follow the (preparation) and (insertion) instructions in the card that was included with your order or if you view the video on our website and/or the website link "to insert and remove" that is on our website. Jennifer, first of all, I can tell that you haven't (kneaded) the ear plug sufficiently prior to insertion to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Secondly, I can tell that the ear plug is too large for your ear canal. Please, after it is soft and mouldable; pinch off about 1/3rd and insert the remaining 2/3rds. Now you'll get it to SEAL and really block out ! Thirdly, please follow these instructions below and you will have TOTAL SUCCESS! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, mouldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” or slightly " sticky"; so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of the index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) the ear opening (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen; you'll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Jennifer, we care about your success and we are with you (all the way) until this fine ear plug is working great for you, so please keep us informed as to your progress. Feel free to call us at the office and we will even (walk you through) inserting this magnificent ear plug. We all wear them and we surely know how it works!
