These ear plugs gave me a quality of sleep that is unsurpassed while living next to a main roadway. They allow me to get into a deep state of REM. When waking up it is blissful relaxation and I remember my entire dream instead of just the last piece of a dream that I was rudely awakened from with a jake brake on a Mack truck, or a fire engine horn outside my bedroom window. These earplugs are truly awesome! Thank you! 😊💤

I purchased these earplugs for my husband. We live in a duplex with noisy neighbors, and there is a train very close by. He is very bothered by sounds so I thought these would help him. He was not overly impressed with them (he said they did not drown out the train sound). I tried them and they are awesome! So awesome that when I first wore them, I had to take them out after a few hours because the silence was scary, ha ha. The material is very malleable and easy to form. Once you stick them in your ear they seal like a glove. I would highly recommend these!

By reading all the reviews about these ear plugs, I thought they would be wonderful. People said they block out train noises etc. Well I'm not sure where they were coming from. The ear plugs do not block out all noise they simply muffle sound so I guess they are better than nothing. No matter how much I made sure my ears were covered I could still hear the noisy renter upstairs. In addition I found them uncomfortable to wear and usually ended up taking them out after about half an hour. They are better than the cheap sponge ones you can buy that never stayed in the ear but these are not all they are advertised to be.

Dear Jan: THEY'RE BETTER THAN YOU THINK ! First of all! All the reviews are authentic, honest and complete! Jan, for our ear plug to work PERFECTLY, it must be (prepared and inserted) correctly. Please, please follow the instructions below exactly, and afterwards you'll "sing us praise"! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Jan, your success with our ear plug is important to us. Please keep me informed afterwards for I too have been wearing this magnificent ear plug each evening for the past 12 years. One thing I know for sure. IT WORKS!!!!! I was not expecting the texture to be tacky like clay, which after several attempts to insert properly into the ear began to remain on the fingers. The idea of daily inserting and removing a clay-like substance from my ears was not appealing. Even after reading the instructions and making several attempts I could not achieve the stated sound-proof seal everyone was raving about. My expectations were high after reading the great reviews, sadly I was disappointed and have given up on this product.

Dear Sarah: The tackiness is important for our ultra-high blocking Beeswax ear plug to SEAL and for it to stay securely in the ear canal and BLOCK OUT! The abundance of "great reviews" are legitimate!!! As an honorable company we invite ALL comments!!! Sarah, 99 out of 100 (new users) figure out how to insert the ear plug on their first insertion; but do not fret, for we are with you (all the way) until you get this working for you perfectly. Our ear plug is made from Beeswax and it is different from the usual Foam ear plugs. Sarah, our soft and mouldable ear plug must first be (worked or kneaded) between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds, just prior to insertion, to make it (soft and mouldable), and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug (slightly tacky), so that it "stays securely in the ear canal" and SEALS IT! Sarah, after you've made it soft and mouldable, then push and flatten it (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening until you feel the ear plug seal the ear canal. Keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few seconds and it will seal well!, Please try again with the insertion as I described above and let me know how it worked for you. These are great earplugs. They block completely the noise all night long.

I have used the subject ear plug repeatedly, following prep instructions and I cannot get it to stay in the ear. First of all, it does not seal, no matter how long I knead it. It falls out of the ear after a short period of time. Note that I have lots of hair in the ear, which may the reason for lack of success, even if the hair is trimmed.

Dear Fgus: I understand the experience. Our ultra-high blocking ear plug has Pure Lanolin Oil in it to make to slightly (tacky) so that it will stay securely in the ear canal to SEAL IT and BLOCK OUT. From what you describe, it could be possible that an abundance of ( hair in the ear canal ) can prevent the ear plug from staying securely and keeping it's SEAL; but I think that the issue, is that the ear plug is (too large) for your ear. Fgus, try pinching off about 1/3rd and insert a slightly smaller ear plug. Be sure to Push and Flatten the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear opening (until you feel it seal). If it doesn't seal immediately, then keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds and it will surely SEAL! Fgus, your success if important to us.
