I swim every day and was upset when my dog chewed up my favorite earplugs. Even worse- they were no longer available to buy so I went on a search to find a replacement and was most impressed with the reviews for this product so decided to try them. When my parcel finally arrived in Australia I was able to try them at last. They are PERFECT. If you follow the instructions you can't go wrong. I do use about two-thirds of a disk and find that just right for my ears. They are excellent at cutting out sound as well. I will be sticking to this brand from now on.

Ear plugs stop working after ~5 uses
These earplugs are amazing on the first and second use and then they lose their consistency or something and I can hear everything; even after adjusting them. Really unfortunate considering the amount I paid to have gone through 3 pairs in less than a month.

I wear them every night.
You should be getting 30-40 wearings from each pair!
In the past 19 years, we have never received a report with so few wearings.
The Pure Lanolin in the ear plugs is what makes them (soft and moldable).
Karina, if you are getting so few wearings, then I'd bet that your body is absorbing the pure Lanolin from the ear plug.
If you obtain a small quantity of Pure Lanolin Oil and just work into each ear plug just ONE drop, that will refurbish the ear plug like new again.

World's bestest earplugs.
Yes, they are that good. They seal out moat high frequency sounds and Form a comfortable seal in the ear canal. As they conform to the shape of the ear canal, they do not exert an uncomfortable pressure and I did not notice them even when I wore them the first time. You can still quite easily hear the morning alarm.

They are so good, you dont hear anything with those in your ears. And they are also comfortable. Maybe a little big, but one can easy be split in two.

Not good enough to blackout snoring
I did a lot of research, to find the best and perfect earplugs to block out my husband snoring. While these block out a lot, I can still hear him snoring. Very disappointing.

CML, you will be pleasantly shocked at how well our ear plug blocks out and you'll then see why almost ALL our customer reviews praise our ear plug so highly!!!!!
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.

Best Ear Plugs I've ever used
They keep out more noise than any other pair of ear plugs I have ever used. They take a little getting used to, but are great and reusable.
