It was hard for me to find and ear plug that kept the water out of my ears. Since I have holes in both my ear drums from repeated tubes to drain my ears I needed one that would not allow any water to enter. This is the only ear plug that I found that would do it. They will last many time usage and I use them ever time I take a shower and now I can go Swimming. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Dear Melissa: This magnificent ear plug WILL BLOCK IT (( ALL )) OUT!!!!>>>>> when you insert it so that it SEALS the ear canal. Please follow the insertion instructions below and you'll hear nothing but SILENCE !!! 1. The very first time that the ear plugs are prepared for insertion, you take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead it or work it) thoroughly through your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. 2. Now that it is moldable, use the tip of your index finger and (push and flatten) the ear plug somewhat (firmly), IN & AGAINST your ear canal, until you feel a good SEAL. If it doesn't SEAL immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL the ear canal, not protrude out from the ear and block out superbly. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the (same way and insert it exactly the same way) as the first ear plug. Now, you'll hear SILENCE! Ear plugs are very effective. They take some getting used to because they are quite different than the standard foam earplug. But they work a lot better.

These earplugs give you the protection but not the pressure pain when worn under a helmet. Took a bit of a 'learning cycle' but now I love them. Highly recommended for motorcycle riders.

The earplugs from Beneficial Products are far superior to the foam and rubber varieties I have tried previously. I have been using this product nightly for over three years and would not use any other product. The composite plugs have a firm, doughy feel and like soft wax they conform and seal off the ear canal. They can also be used over and over and nicely retain their integrity for weeks before you need another pair.
