Whoa Robert! Your review is completely FALSE! The ear plug we sent you is surely NOT DEFECTIVE. In fact, it is rated by over 6 million daily wearers as the BEST PRODUCT as an ear plug; and being an honorable company, we invite ALL comments whether they be positive or negative reviews. Robert, the reviews that freely come in are "overwhelmingly" very positive. How untrue to say that we refuse any refunds. Again, that too is completely untrue. Dear Lorraine: They would have PERFORMED & EXCEEDED your EXPECTATIONS>> IF>>>you had inserted them CORRECTLY; to where they (( SEALED )) your ear canals.!!!!!!!!! Lorraine, IT WILL BLOCK OUT (( ALL )) HIS SNORING!!! I too wear this exact ear plug every night to block out my husband's snoring. It works wonderfully, and it is the HIGHEST BLOCKING (most sound suppressing) ear plug in existence; but to experience the superior performance, you must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below, and you will then see why almost all the testimonials on our website page are so positive and (BEST OF ALL), they are completely true and accurate. Lorraine, please give this fine ear plug a chance to show you how superior it blocks out!!! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, mouldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you'll hear only SILENCE. 4.
