Dear Mandy: ON THE CONTRARY !!! They're a made from PURE BEESWAX!!! "Waste" is where you threw them. Mandy, that was a big mistake !!! You've got the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG in the WORLD, and you don't know it !!!!! Mandy, you go and retrieve those ear plugs and follow my instructions below. You'll be glad and grateful for my effort!! 1. Just before insertion, take (( ONE )) ear plug at a time, and (work or knead) it between your fingers or hands for at least ( 15-20 ) seconds to make our Beeswax ear plug, (soft and mouldable). 2. Then push and flatten it, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening, UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug (( SEAL )), yes (( SEAL )) your ear canal. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't SEAL immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY; and be sure to push them in far enough so that the (( whole ear plug )) is in your canal; plus if the ear plugs are too big, then pinch off a little and re-insert them. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. With both ears SEALED, (( NOW )) LISTEN TO THE SILENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE keep me informed as to your experience. We are with you ( ALL THE WAY ) until you get this working PERFECTLY for you. Mandy, I personally wear them every night. Oh Hayley: SURPRISE !!! Our "Mighty Plugs" really are the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's what you don't know about our Beeswax ear plug: From what you've said, I can easily tell that our Beeswax ear plug is TOOOOOOO BIG for your ear canal. Just after you've (kneaded) the ear plugs to make them (soft and mouldable), your are supposed to create the PERFECT SIZE for your own ear canal. Hayley, pinch off at least 1/3rd and insert the remaining 2/3rds of the ear plug. When you push in a smaller size, you'll get it to SEAL and stay sealed; blocking out MORE SOUND than any other ear plug IN THE WORLD !!!!!! Keep in touch and let me know how that worked for you.
