First take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead or work) it well through your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the ear plug (soft and mouldable). Then follow the directions in # 2 2. Push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening & into your ear canal UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug ( SEAL ) (SEAL) (SEAL) your ear canal. YES, It needs to SEAL the ear to block out much. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't (( SEAL )) immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. Now, with both ears SEALED, LISTEN TO (( SILENCE )) !!!!!! Dear Overseas 1: Be sure to (work or knead) our beeswax ear plugs through your fingers or hands for 15 seconds, just prior to insertion. That will make them (soft and mouldable) and disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. You will then have NO Lanolin residue. Kind regards Mary-customer service
