Ear plugs block everything:useless for normal musicians
These earplugs are what we call in Australia, bluetac, costing $2.95. Used for holding pictures to the wall, fixing things temporarily. A stationery tool. these earplugs [$29 Aus] block out all sound and are useless for musicians. I read the blurb saying they were good for musicians. Maybe if you're playing in Metallica in front of 25000 watts of sound and don't want to hear anything. I play in a band and couldn't hear anything with these lumps of gunk. I've gone back to dense-foam ear protection, $2 for 2 pairs.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsNov 12, 2017
Dear Ric: Yes, they will block out EVERYTHING: IF you insert them (( too firmly )) and (( too far )) into the ear, to where they ((sealing)) your ear canal. Ric, musicians must insert them differently; so don't push them in so far and so tight so that you can't hear the notes clearly. Insert them less firmly and the Mighty Plugs will reduce the "harmful frequencies" and allow in the frequencies that are not harmful. Kind regards Mary-customer service
