Dear Linda: Most people love the fragrance of Beeswax; the main ingredient of our ear plug, and if your hearing your husband snore; it tells us clearly, that you haven't inserted our (soft and mouldable) ear plug firmly enough or deep enough into the ear canal to allow the ear plug to SEAL your ear canal. If you did, you wouldn't hear him and Mighty Plugs would be your favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Linda, follow the directions below for inserting our ear plug and you'll find they block out (ALL), if not almost all of the sound. 1. First take ONE ear plug at a time, and (knead or work) it well through your fingers or hands for 15-20 seconds, to make the ear plug (soft and mouldable). Then follow the directions in # 2 2. Push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening & into your ear canal UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug ( SEAL ) your ear canal. YES, It needs to (( SEAL )) the ear to block out much. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't (( SEAL )) immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. Now with both ears SEALED, LISTEN TO (( SILENCE )) !!!!!!
