I have a noisy inconsiderate roommate who has no meaning of the word quiet when I use these plugs I do not hear anything. I am a person who enjoys my peace and quiet. I will be buying another pair for sure.

These earplugs did not cut out as much noise as i had hoped, certainly not as must as the foam type. However they are without a doubt very comfortable. I would compare it to putting play dough in your ears. If you need to wear earplugs for a long period, ie when you sleep for 7 - 8 hours, these are a good comfortable option. I have followed the instructions in the reply to this and stand by my comments. Thanks

Dear Jet Pilot: Whoa! They're a thousand times better than "not too bad">>>>>WHEN (( YOU INSERT THEM CORRECTLY )) !!!!!!!!! Jet, PLEASE follow the below instructions and you'll be very very pleasantly surprised !!! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it (soft, malleable) and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft, malleable and ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit FIRMLY; & FLATTEN it (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL )). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, and it will (( SEAL )) well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen: you’ll hear very little or possibly no sound at all; and (it even gets better) each day or night afterwards. These are the best ear plugs I have ever tried. I've tried the foam, the wax, and even plastic. These form to you, soft, they keep out noise but I can still hear somethings like my phone alarm in the morning. I started looking for plugs when my husband started to snore and I could hear it through the mattress. This was over 20 years ago. I have used these for those 20 years when I finally found them. When I see that I'm down to my last fresh pair I have the site in my favorites and order. They are always here within 2-4 days with a new travel case. Please don't ever change.
