1 star – please read before using e-visacan
Like others I was thinking to get a visa from the official Canadian government page but ended up paying 235€ a visa for my husband and me. The website’s visuals are extremely similar to the official site and the pricing wasn’t sufficiently transparent displayed throughout the process. After my experience with e-VisaCan, I decided to look beyond the website itself and investigate the companies and corporate information connected with the service. My research of publicly available corporate records and historical website information led me to the following: * e-VisaCan identifies Compass World LLC,a Wyoming company, as the company operating the website * Those records identify Company Sage Agents LLC as the registered agent for Compass World LLC. * I also found historical information connecting a former page offering Canadian visa-service with SEBE Inc. * Further research into the relevant public records and historical information allowed me to identify additional corporate connections surrounding these two entities that were not apparent to me when I initially used the website. * both companies are linked to a wider network of visa-service domains What I found particularly concerning was that these connections were not obvious from the customer-facing website. I have also requested a refund from e-VisaCan. My refund requests have been repeatedly rejected, despite my attempts to resolve the matter directly. Most recently, the customer service team has stopped responding to my correspondence. I am therefore pursuing the matter through my card provider and considering my further legal options. I am aware that other customers appear to have reported similar experiences, and I am considering whether there is a basis for pursuing appropriate legal or consumer-protection action collectively. I have retained copies of the relevant corporate records, historical website information, correspondence and other documentation supporting what I have described above. I am deliberately not naming individual people, and I am not making any allegation of criminal conduct. I am documenting corporate information, historical connections and my own experience based on publicly available sources and records. I believe customers considering using e-VisaCan or similar services should know who operates the website and what corporate entities are behind it
