Don’t waste your time — none of the jobs matched my profile, I just wasted my time.

Dscout doesn't allow researchers to launch a screener for non US based participants and partner panels without their review which takes time and unnecessarily delays the launch of a study. It's as if they don't trust the researchers and micromanage each and every question in the screener. I have requested them to remove this review a million times, but everytime I launch a screener, it takes atleast two days for them to review and finally launch.

So I have heard some folks talk about a series of Positive Review spams on Trustpilot for this app recently. Looking it up, yep, pretty much a series of spams have ran from July 23-24, 2026. As a user for 2 years, I have noticed how their behaviors have changed for the worse: harder to get quick missions, clunky app that is prone to crash, and now we have a promotion 'invite' new user feature. I have 2 friends who also uses it, one of them was eliminated because the researcher flagged one of their image as 'AI' when they shows the image in multiple angles - Dscout didn't repeal the ban. They have also rolled out buggy AI missions where you are forced to work with the AI to complete it, which thankfully have become less. They are also adding in missions with gift card rewards, too. Many of these mission types are being pushed back, and Trustpilot was a place to air grievances and complaints they have long ignored; now, they are trying to drown it out. It is better irregular income source than most, but the way the app and the company are heading, they are trying to recruit as many users as possible so they can burn them out faster when a researcher find an excuse to flag them. They needs to change.

I was banned all of a sudden. And when I reached out for explanation, I was given a generic one. That’s not fair. I did everything right!

Used to be good. Now they have fewer missions, harder to access missions, and a serious case of flagging users. People still earn good money ..... if they have a specific niche profession or big digital service spenders, WORSHIP AI. More than half of the mission qualifiers are indirect and hiding their affiliation under specific companies. They almost never have membership reward money missions .... until I saw 2 last month. The paid is getting more delayed up to 3 weeks. The app itself also have freezes, browser recordings being stuck unable to upload, glitches, and even more terrible UI update. Dscout is slowly becoming just another terrible survey app. It's long, tedious, and ultimately unrewarding unless your willing to shill toward the AI corporations.

Horrendous experience. Had it for over a year. Never qualified 🙄 shocker… Finally i get a match, they asked for verification before completing it. Completed all the steps, added my ID, congratulations for verifying yourself. I completed the test (20 min of my time). In the end “sorry you’re not qualified) mind you my test was still uploading. I emailed their support, and was told my ID was rejected so no payment. Well in my account shows clearly that i am a verified user. Will never use it again.

In this Dscout app there is never a fit, specially when i am travelling outside United States.

These people are scam!!! Don't use them!!! At your own RISK!!! I just completed a study with them and followed all the guidelines required but instead of getting the compensation promised, they are trying to scam their way out from paying me. I have sent mails asking them to review my entries but they just keeping acting like I'm not human. Scammers!!! It's either you pay for the 12 activities that I completed on your platform or I drop this review everyday.
