Bad experience for me,personally...I was in Basel Progressive Retreat, September 2026,silver stage. Expensive and I learned nothing new. Unfortunatelly i cant call this experience as a retreat, becuase I cant consider a retreat with 8000 people together in a huge show room. It was more of a show, with a lot of talking from Joe Dispenza and no interactions with the public. 3 days that could be done summarized in 3-4 hours. The chairs in the silver area are of hard wood, vert uncorfortable, broke my back. Sitting was very crowded. What made me get far from this experience is the fact that it looked like a real show when he invited actors on the stage that started to shake while meditating, and moving in strange ways.... after not even 1 sec from the start of the meditation. I felt like a real fool that I am part of such show...I expected some soul deep insights, I didnt feel that. Again, personal experience.

Highly recommend the 3 Day Progressive with Dr Joe Dispenza
If you really can put in the work, you will definitely reap the benefit from it all.
I booked the Dr Joe Dispenza 3 day Progressive Retreat in Basel and I can honestly say, it has been superly amazing. I went solo and made some good friends along the way too.
I wish it would continue as to experience that much energy with 8,300 people meditating is insane and out of this world and I definitely felt a big shift and have returned back home to be a new person.
I just am honestly full of gratitude for the work that Dr Joe Dispenza does and with such passion and humour that you truly start to fall in love with life and yourself again and find that the meditations for the heart, brain, chakras and also the quantum field open up something inside of you.
I have been home now and am continuing to meditate and have also manifested one thing so quickly, which really surprised me and look forward to the journey and have already put it out there to go to the one week long retreat too!
I hope this review reaches someone who is looking for changes in their life for the better and inspires them too to take a chance on his retreats.
Lots of love to the whole team and to the many souls who came together to create the magic we all experienced.

I attended the Joe Dispenza Progressive Retreat...
I attended the Joe Dispenza Progressive Retreat in Basel and left with a very mixed, but ultimately critical, impression.
There were parts I genuinely found useful. Meditation, breathing exercises, mental rehearsal, and becoming more aware of habitual thoughts and behaviors can all have real psychological and physiological effects. Some of the research presented on neuroplasticity, EEG patterns, stress, biomarkers, and meditation is legitimate and interesting.
My main issue is how quickly legitimate scientific findings are turned into much stronger claims that the research itself does not establish.
Throughout the retreat, changes in EEG coherence, gamma activity, blood markers, gene expression, the microbiome, and other physiological measurements were presented alongside claims about healing, “energy,” the pineal gland, manifestation, and the quantum field. In many cases, the initial scientific finding may be real, but several speculative causal steps are added afterward and presented with far more certainty than the evidence justifies.
Examples included claims about extremely high gamma activity supposedly reaching hundreds of standard deviations above normal (which is extremly unlikely), the pineal gland acting like a kind of “radio receiver” through crystals and electromagnetic effects, and anecdotal healing stories involving serious medical conditions. These stories may be genuine personal experiences, but testimonials are not evidence that meditation caused the recovery. For such claims, I would expect controlled clinical research with a larger group of people (studies mostly cover n = 20), objective medical before-and-after data, adequate control groups, and independent replication.
I also found the presentation style increasingly uncomfortable. There were repeated moments where the audience was prompted with phrases such as “Are you with me?” while Joe raised his hand and thousands of people responded together. In my view, this creates a strong atmosphere of agreement and social proof, especially when similar techniques are used directly before or after highly debatable scientific or metaphysical claims. At an event that relies so heavily on science, I would have preferred much more encouragement of critical thinking and clear differentiation between established evidence, hypotheses, and personal interpretation.
That is ultimately my biggest criticism: the retreat often blends real science, preliminary research, speculative hypotheses, and spiritual beliefs in a way that makes them appear to have the same level of scientific support. They do not.
Meditation itself can absolutely be valuable, and I do not think everything presented was wrong. In fact, some of the underlying research is genuinely interesting. But the conclusions drawn from it are often much stronger than the data warrant.
My recommendation to anyone attending would be to separate the meditation practices from the scientific explanations and to read the original studies independently before accepting the broader claims about healing, energy, manifestation, or the quantum field. I would recommend to spent your money elsewhere.

waste of money
he has no medical knowledge, spreads false information and only keeps on repeading himself. keep your money and rather do your mediatations elsewhere.

It was good if you're an absolute…
It was good if you're an absolute novice thats never heard of meditation before. But even if you've only listened to Joe's meditations before then this is a waste of money. We spent thousands on the tickets, accommodation, flights, plus spending money and that money would have been much better spent if we'd learnt anything new. The front rows were specifically designated for groupies that were told to dance for the cameras, he repeated himself A LOT, whole thing could have been done in a couple of hours. If you need hope or help and have access to the internet then this is not the way, save your precious time and money

Joe Dispenza's The Hunger Games Retreat - Week Long Retreat
What a ridiculous thing that I spent over $6K to go to Joe Dispenza's Week Long Retreat and learn nothing more than what is in his Progressive course and meditations.
They should call it the Hunger Games Retreat. Joe Dispenza and his followers (at least the majority at the retreat) were anything but the spiritually enlightened humans I thought I would encounter. Quite the opposite.
Joe Dispenza is an arrogant man strutting around and dancing on stage with his sycophants gaslighting themselves and others with toxic positivity.
The lines to the Hunger Games Retreat auditorium were messy and unfair, with selfish people stacking towels and mats to hold their place in line for hours before the doors open. And then other selfish attendees skipped the lines completely, while others waited patiently but then missed out because the selfish ones got all the good seats.
Joe Dispenza couldn't even order enough snacks for everyone at the Week Long Retreat, I mean, the Hunger Games Retreat. Every single break time, attendees would frantically run out to the snack tables or jump the lines so they could gorge while others in wheelchairs or slow walkers went without snacks. After a few times of this happening, we asked server staff and they told us Joe Dispenza only orders around 500 snacks, even though there were about 1,800 attendees.
WTF. $2,699 for the retreat + over $3K for lodging and travel to play the idiotic guru-obsessed Hunger Games.
