Paying someone for a sales pitch is wild. Disappointed in myself for falling for it and disappointed also in Dr. Axe.

When I saw the advertisement for a $27…
When I saw the advertisement for a $27 Regenerative & Precision Medicine Consultation with Dr. Josh Axe's Team, I was excited because the expectation was there would be an in depth history form & review as well as a cellular analysis + toxicity and deficiency assessment. I thought that I would come away with a type of idea of a plan and how to move forward. INSTEAD I was given an hour + sales pitch by a team member who did not understand my thyroid diagnosis or what I could or couldn't have as a result of my autoimmune disease. I was told at the beginning that they have 2000 people a month applying and they only take 20% of the people. She thought that I might have a good chance of qualifying because I was in the red. She told me that my health is important and that I shouldn't wait but go ahead and sign up. I wondered if there were any blood tests or any type of analysis other than the forms that I filled out that they would go by to determine if my health was improving or not. No, the program does not include blood tests. It does include a nutritional program that I'm assuming they give you recipes for? What I was most surprised by was the end tactics. Yes, I qualified, but here were the numbers ... around 8000 dollars for 4 months! I told her that this was not something I could afford, so she proceeded to show me the next level that was around 5000, and then the following level that was around 3000. I told her all of these were not something that I could afford right now, but that I would have to save up for something like this. She told me that I could qualify for an in house finance situation. The in house was actually a loan! I did not want to be in debt for this program... I was so surprised that she kept giving me different options including taking out a loan for this. I am very disappointed by the tactics by this company and it makes me less likely to trust them and their products in the future.

His $27 consult is a scam, but perhaps his program is good
For all I know, he may have an amazing program and his program may warrant five stars. However, DO NOT buy the consult. I spent 30+ minutes filling out my health information prior to the consult and another 1.5 hours in the consult, taking time away from my job and money away from our table. I brought a notebook and planned to learn at least something about thyroid, hormones, etc. Instead, a saleswoman essentially told me that I was paying to be interviewed to see if I am a candidate for Dr Axe's $8,000 4-month program (there is a discount program available at $2,500 or so). She provided me with no service at all for my $27 and wasted my time. "Consults" like this should be free. Dr Axe may have a wonderful program, but his reputation, ethics, and net worth should be strong enough that he doesn't have to resort to such tactics. He should be providing refunds to those who choose not to buy the program and credits to those who do. I expected more from someone who purports to be Christian, although Judas was a Christian . . . .

I don’t know if this program works or…
I don’t know if this program works or doesn’t but the $27 or $37 for a consult felt like a scam. It was a sales pitch with zero health information. That should be free for people to decide if they want to do the program. I expected to do a true consult and get told specific supplements of his to try.

Dishonest Practices
I wish I would have read other reviews before I got sucked into paying $37 for a sales pitch! I have followed Dr. Axe for years on instagram and have even purchased products from Ancient Nutrition. When I saw the ad on Instagram for a "Regenerative and Precision Medicine Consultation" I was so looking forward to speaking to a doctor who would look over the extensive online form I filled out and guide me on my next steps to take on my health journey. Instead of receiving any personalized advice on supplements that would be beneficial, I instead listened to an hour long sales pitch for a program that "I would be a great candidate for their 4 1/2 month long program" to the tune of almost $8,000!! The doctor I spoke with even told me about the 48 month payment plan I could set up to pay for this four month long program. I felt like this doctor also used a lot of scare tactics to try to talk me into doing this program. I just wanted to write this review to try to spare other people from wasting their time and money. I'm thankful it was only $37 that I wasted but still frustrated that this company is deceiving people into paying for a sales pitch.

I did paid $37 and had the zoom call.Thank God I came here and read all the other reviews before going any further. The experiences that I’ve read from others was exactly what I experienced. If I’m going to spend that kind of money I would think you would have tests done. ( blood work, Dutch test, something?) I’ve always admired Dr Axe and his teachings. So I thought i could trust him. Sorry but I lost some respect here.

Scam
Scam!
I was so disappointed by this "consultation" that turned out to be a sales pitch. To be fair, the guy (who was a salesman, not a doctor - I'm sure) did disclose there was a financial investment to make. It should have been a free consultation and the sales pitch should have been disclosed before my appointment. I'm a huge believer in natural medicine and have followed Dr. Axe for years. I was so disappointed! I just can't see how a 4 month program should cost $7k+. I have no doubt this is a good program. I just believe it's way overpriced. As someone else said for that price, it should include meals and blood work or other tests.
