Attention all Independent Authors. Do not use this fraudulent company. The reason is simple - their mandate is to look for ways to NOT PAY you royalties. That's all. If you have fallen foul of them, please, please report them to the IRS. It may take a while to complete, but it will be worth it. We have to stop people taking our money - that's why we review. Justice is not dead yet.

Absolute mess. Stay away from this so-called "publisher." Smashwords owes me over $1000 in royalties but never responded to emails, basically kept the money, and these "new owners" are even worse. The customer service attitude is horrible, they make mistakes in their responses, and the only answer I got regarding my royalties is: "Thanks for writing in again. As our systems are not yet integrated, any accrued balance on Smashwords will remain until integration is complete later this year." Basically, this means, "We will pay you... never". Stay away from these scammers, and don't waste your time. Smashwords wasn't perfect. Still, it worked somehow, at least a few years ago. But Draft2Digital guys are simply fraudsters.

If you don't fill out the tax return in time, they close your account and keep your money, then you don't even respond to the request to want to collaborate to reopen your account. What s..t . Another band of thieves like amazon, f.....g human s..t

Poor "formatting" of ebook files that completely destroys the formatting that I already did. I write poetry only, and my books for their POD are on the short side but well over the minimum page count. They had the gall to tell me that not only was my 80pg book not long enough, that it wasn't formatted correctly. This is after having trouble with correctly formatted titles marked "incorrect". Further, they don't actually report sales on time, even through their POD service. After all this nonsense, I am withdrawing all my books. I strongly recommend others, especially poets, to do the same.

The most mediocre platform I've ever known on the net, and I really regret the fact that I know it, no need to waste your time and energy in it, I wonder if they even have a so called support team, it should be called bull***sh**it team instead

if 0 star exists , i would give it to this mediocre plateform , 2 months waiting just validate my account and after all these period they block my account without even knowing what the hell is going on even if i gave all the required documents and i even ask them to do a live chat but no respond , i even wonder if they have a so called support team , such a waste of time and energy.
