Without that information, we're unable to confirm your account or investigate the error you encountered. In some cases, a selfie with a government-issued ID may be requested as part of identity verification to help protect members and prevent fraud. The verification step you encountered is a TransUnion security measure called a Velocity Hold, which is automatically triggered when multiple identity verification attempts occur within a certain window. This is a consumer protection protocol enforced by TransUnion — not a Dovly policy — and unfortunately we're required to honor it, which means we're unable to override or bypass the hold on our end, regardless of the circumstances. We genuinely wish we had more flexibility here, and your feedback about offering alternative verification pathways is something we take seriously.
