i wish i read these reviews earlier. i placed an order in november 2024 for 3 boots. all of them got stuck with the canada post strike. so i didnt get them for weeks. fine ok not their fault. they final arrived i tried them on too small. took weeks to be able to return because of the strike build up. i finally got the return label and sent them back. huge package. i got a refund for one pair of boots. so called customer service. for almost a month they have been telling me they are looking for them in the warehouse! it’s insane. i used their label they sent me and they had no record of it. luckily the tracking number shows it was delivered to the warehouse. at this point they owe me a refund of 700 dollars and i’m not sure what to do anymore. disgusting way to treat someone. and i would have ordered a bigger size in probably all the boots but thought i better wait to get my money back thank god. and now i would never even consider buying from them again

For the Canadian customers. Dolce Vita same parent company as Steve Madden. I've been dealing with BOTH of these companies this past month. They have been untruthful and taking orders since CanadaPost has been on strike at the end of last year for two months but never fulfilling them (they're greedy, they didn't change shipping companies like alot of other retailers nor did they stop taking orders). They are extremely backed up even though nowhere does it say that on the website and are trying to play catchup on all the orders they took and didn't fulfill. The Customer Service team has been greenlit to copy and paste the same jargon to every pissed off customer waiting weeks/months but honestly it's not their fault, upper management has fed them to the wolves. Go in-stores to Steve Madden or buy Dolce Vita items from a 3rd party retailer if you must. When your order gets stuck they say it will take up to 3 WEEKS for them to investigate after having already having the order sit in purgatory for 2+ weeks. I actually burst out laughing on the phone when they told me this. Save yourself the headache. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THEIR WEBSITES. Multiple reviews from different customers having the same experience. Hard pressed to ever buy from them again tbh. Garbage C-suite team.

I placed an order and waited over a week with no updates. I reached out via chat and phone, and they informed me they were out of stock, but they could cancel the order and place another size order. I should have known this wouldn't go well because they never updated me on my order, and I was on hold for 45 minutes only to be told they were out of stock. Nonetheless, I complied, and the boots arrived a week later: damaged, scratched, and used. I contacted them, and they stated I could not return in-store (nowhere does their website disclose this policy). I have to pay a restocking fee (why should I pay for their mistake?), no exchanges, and they made no attempts to remedy the situation where I don't feel screwed. I still haven't received the refund from my first order, and now I'll have to fight for the second because of their repeated mistakes. I will never do business with this company again. In 2025, this is unacceptable with all the technology in the world. They can't properly manage customer service, can't manage inventory, can't properly manage payment processing, nor can they manage quality control. Terrible.

If I could give a zero star I would. I’ve been waiting a month with no answer as to wear my order is. I ordered and it said 3 days. Nothing has arrived. I’ve tried to escalate it. No one gets back to me. I’ve been on the phone over an hour and still nothing.

Ordered a pair of boots, was charged and then they cancelled the order giving no reason as to why it was cancelled. I assumed that they couldn’t fulfill it. Made the mistake of placing another order for a different pair of shoes. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I haven’t received notification that the order has been shipped.Tried contacting the company but no response. Wish I would have read other reviews prior to ordering. Stay away from this company.Absolutely no customer service!

Since Black Friday did not receive the shoes. Called right before the holidays and the representative and “manager” said oh they said shoes were not sent due to Canada post. 1 month later we called them now, and they said the shoes were sent in December but I guess they are lost now. 2 months later and they don’t seem to care to tell their customers they don’t have inventory. Fake stock to take peoples money

Came here to write a similar experience as the last posts since Black Friday This company has claimed that they’re backlogged due to Canada post- I’ve emailed them 5 times! Each time they respond with the same reply, they’re delayed, it’ll be a few more days. I emailed them back that I’ve waited over a month! I am not waiting any longer, I want a full refund for my order. This company is going to lose all its customers if it doesn’t get its act together over this disaster.

Have ordered before from here and loved the boots I ordered so decided to order another pair for Black Friday. Its been a month and the shoes haven’t shipped.. they tried to claim that it’s due to Canada post strike, however they used FedEx as the shipper and it says on the FedEx website that the label was created on 12/12/2024. They told me they were shipped out on the 23rd after my order being placed on the 2nd.. now the shoe is out of stock. At the very least I would expect them to offer some sort of discount? Most other companies would but this doesn’t seem to be a thing for them. Hoping that they do actually refund me based on all these other reviews …
