I don't feel that the product is very durable. My dog destroyed the rubber surrounding within 2 days. And the tag itself is already scratched. I don't expect these to last forever, but I'm disappointed at it's condition after a week of wear.

My dog chewed on the tag and took off the name and phone number. Would have better if it was engraved.

A dog can chew up anything if you let them. There are very few pet products on the market that a dog can not chew up given some time. Even engraved tags, which are typically aluminum and very soft, can be worn down and have information fade or wear if subjected to repeated biting by your pet. It doesn't take long at all. We always recommend that you hang the tag so your pet cannot get it in their mouth. If your pet is young typically they will grow out of this behavior. Even if your pet chews up the tag we still have a lifetime guarantee on every single tag we sell. All you have to do is give us a call or shoot us an email and we will happily and quickly send you out a brand new replacement absolutely free of charge for the entire lifetime of your pet.

The tag did not look like the picture of it when ordered. I assume that it was different because the small tag was ordered. However, the website did not indicate there would be a difference between the large and small tags. The price was not worth the product. Will not place another order.

I had no 'friction' since I knew it would take way too long to receive the item. I was very disappointed when I did receive it. I expected a 'normal' size tag but got a tiny little tag. I expected it to be made of metal, not plastic. This you charged $18.00! I can get a medical emergency tag for myself for less than that. Will not do business with you again.

Out of the box it looked very impressive. I was a little skeptical when I saw the design is more of a "film" wrapped over the metal tag. In about a month the design on one side is chipping off around the edges. The side with the information has started rubbing off because this too is film or sticker and is not engraved. From normal daily wear, the rabies & dog license tags have rubbed off 1 full line of information from the tag. Not impressed and not happy that i have to find another tag that won't wear down so quickly.

I'm sorry that the AKC has outsourced the CGC tags to this company. The metal is just okay quality. While the image on front is nice, the identification information on the back is just printed on. In the past, it was etched into the metal so that it would stay. After two days, my dog's CGC tag looks awful. It's all scratched up and the printing will soon be gone.

Thank you for your feedback! We have thousands of CGC customers and the vast majority of them actually like our tags better than what was previously offered. We also have quite a few CGC customers who have left glowing reviews here on TrustPilot. Our tags are guaranteed for the life of your pet. If they ever become illegible we will send you a new one for free.
