I love the concept and look of the tags - however, if you do not use the rubber silencer ring, the coating (with image and text) will wear off over time from hitting other metaltags attached to the ring. My tags have all started to lose their coating starting at the edges of the tags, so far this has not damaged the text, but over time will likely spread. Also, there are dark marks on the text from the tag hitting other tags, which I cannot rub or wash off. This makes the text a little harder to read. Again, I love the concept and initial look of the tags, and have purchased multiple ones with different images on them to coordinate with different collars, but if you want them to last you need to use the rubber silencer ring, which I don't like. I hope they develop a stronger coating which can withstand hitting against other tags on the collar.

I love the art work choices for the tags! My only complaint would be that the enamel chips off rather easily. I have had to order 2 tags already and my puppy is only 13 months old.
