If their intention is for this product to be merely aesthetic, so the dog looks like it's wearing ear protection in order to make the pet parent feel better, then mission accomplished. The product provides no noise dampening whatsoever. The ear cups can be securely held over the dog's ears (try it on yourself) and there's no reduction of noise. I'm looking for something that actually works, not just something cute.

I placed a order for 2 noise canceling headphones and received a free elephant. My order came with 1 noise canceling headphone. I immediately called Doggie Hush and was told they would get my other one out immediately with a free gift and email the shipping info. Next day there was nothing so I sent a email reminding them. Again said they would get it right out and made a point to say they would cover shipping, like it was my fault. I called on July 29th and followed up the 30th. My replacement wasn't mailed until the 1st of August. Four days? I think the customer service definitely could be better. For the ear phones, they need to altered before I can try to put them on my Shih Tzus. There is way too much Velcro to even try to get a snug fit. And can easily be taken off even with the chin snap. The ear muff part does help muffle out noise though. The squeaky elephant is cute but cheap. My dog had a hole in it within 5 minutes. I think they charge over 20.00 definitely not worth the cost. Overall, I am very disappointed with Doggie Hush.

I received my order quickly but my dog refuses to keep these on his head. Which is disappointing I was hoping these would help him through this monsoon season. Hopefully with some time and training we can get him used to them.

Because of the singular strap, the ears do not stay on my dogs head and when tightened so they stay on they choke my dog every time he lays down.
