Wow... I learned so much and will be applying all lessons and techniques.

I wouldn't say that the training was easy because it requires a lot from your dog, but it did really help with my relationship with my dog. All the training tips were absolutely wonderful and they give tips on how to do things when one way isn't working. Repitition and consistency is the key and varied settings. Everyone here was so helpful and understanding too. Loved the whole experience!

First right off, I wish I had received the "clicker" in the very beginning, I want your company to send that out as soon as a person pays their tuition. Now please read the rest of this because I'm be totally honest about this course. DogAcademy is Fantastic! William (my dog, 6 months old) and I took the PSD training course together. It was easy, very intense. I really liked that about the course. I wanted my dog to be well trained and not have questions about his training. I really appreciate the fact that at the end of the course there is a written test and then also a video test. I have a very well trained PSD animal that is welcomed into all of the many stores we've entered. Big Box stores, small mom and pop stores, Post Office, etc. Never any problems, he knows his job. He and I have bonded like I never thought would be possible. He never wants to leave my side. This was a small problem at first because I attend Daily Mass (go to church every day) so I needed to leave him at home in this crib (my Priest would rather I not bring him to church and I won't push him onto anyone). It hurt my heart putting him into his crib until I realized that this too should be consider as part of this training and mine too. He and I both need to realize that there may be times we just can't be together. William is now very comfortable with staying home in his crib when I need to leave him, I've also accepted this. As he gets older he'll have more freedom in our home. When he's not on duty, William is a very active dog. He enjoys his doggy life. He plays ball with me, we chase each other in the yard, he's well house trained (which I feel his PSD training assisted with) and is totally loving to other dogs and people. I can't state enough how close this course made us feel for one another. Take the course. Follow the course very closely. Do as it instructs, don't take short cuts and you'll have a very attentive, loving PSD Service Animal.

This is my second review; as my first experience wasn't great. DogAcademy reached out to me and we discussed the situation in my first review. They returned my money (very quickly) and offered me free training sessions with Lily. I have dogs as an adult and even foster dogs, Lily taught me more than I could have imagined. I'm so grateful to her and DogAcademy. Remy, my dog and I will continue or training with the assistance of DogAcademy. The support I have received from DogAcademy has been fabulous, thank you Lily and DogAcademy.

The videos were so easy to understand. I love the fact I can go back and rewatch them again in areas Bentley might need a refresher. The training was VERY bonding for us. People now say he is blowing them away at how well behaved he is. A man at the park walked past us and Bentley sat quietly waiting. The man said to his wife...now that is a well trained dog. Anyone ever owning a mini schnauzer knows they are not known for being very quiet. THANK YOU!

My experience has been great! My dog Marley is 11 yrs old and we needed to get on a flight to fly home. No options, we needed to have him board a plane in cabin and come home. Pet transport was not a option because of Marleys weight of 65lbs. I looked to Pet Academy and Melissa and Lindsay were great and walked me through how this will work. Marley was already pretty trained and is pretty smart (Australian Shepherd) and just needed to get him through TSA and the training not only showed me how to have him help me, but also how to get him through Airports. We got to the airport through TSA and everything went as planned! Thank you, Dog Academy!

Dog Academy was available every time I called and helped me understand my next steps in training, and what I was doing right or wrong. They answered the phone quickly and were polite, nice and helpful every time I reached out.
