Just recently bought a "good condition refurbished" ps2 from them and its safe to say its terrible dust in the cd drive dusty fan I called them and got a refund thankfully

I bought a refurbished N64 console about a year ago from DKOldies. It was off-color, and had a crack on the controller port, plus there was a rattling sound coming from the inside. They also had the original jumper removed and replaced with a 3rd party jumper. It worked, but it was ugly. Their website uses stock photos, so you never know what you're actually getting. Anyways, over the past month I've seen YouTubers opening consoles they bought from DKOldies, exposing dirty interiors, so I decided to open mine and to no surprise I found it caked with dust and some grime. I keep a clean, smoke-free house, so I know this isn't from my limited time playing it. Also, the piece rattling around was a popcorn kernel. Clearly, they didn't refurbish it like they claim to have. I'm taking the time to write this because it seems there is ample evidence that DKOldies has a habit of offering a service they don't follow through with and I don't want other people to be had. Its even more frustrating that they can't own up to their mistakes and make the attempt to regain the trust of their customers. Instead, they only claim that a handful of consoles have slipped through the cracks in the QA department, but the evidence supports otherwise. I can forgive people who are apologetic, but they're not, so I will certainly not be buying anything more from them and I highly suggest other people stay away as well.

Would recommend being very cautious if wanting to purchase from this site. Seems its used its virality during Covid to hike prices up to ridiculous 2nd hand prices which are more alike factory new RRP. Games seem to be more relaible but even with many of them being 50% off they are more expensive than most market values. Consoles are the worst and often wont be taken care of unless they were bought with a genuine faut and repaired but still definitely not worth the prices listed - even during the current sale which has come at a convienient time (lots of people realising their lack of good service presale) No doubt they'll start doing a better job now to try and save the companies rep, but i've understood they've used unethical practices and lied which is morally wrong for me so I will be sure to NOT SUPPORT THEM IN FUTURE. Unsure how they have been allowed to get away with it so much... basically a scam when you advertise one thing and not only end up getting something different but also, sub-par!

The Nintendo Switch Lite I bought only works for about 10-15 minutes before the screen turns orange and becomes unresponsive! I was dumb to even buy it when I could've purchased a new one for only $10.00 more here at my local GameStop! I'm definitely not ordering anything from Dkoldies again!

definitely a scam. Don't buy from this place. They mark up old retro games and systems to make money. They are a scam. DO NOT BUY! They are one of the reasons retro gaming cost so much. THEY ARE A SCAM! Stop letting companies mark up old tech. They are bums trying to take advantage of us gamers. DO NOT SELL AND DO NOT BUY!! watch reviews to see what i mean. The retro game market has been destroyed by these companies buying and up selling products for nostalgia. They know we want certain consoles and games and they profit way more than you expect.IT IS A SCAM!!!

I ordered a Nintendo DSi from this company in mid January of 2023 I was surprised to see that it came to my door one day earlier than anticipated so that was awesome. However what was not awesome was the fact that my unit did not work at all how could something possibly slip through quality control like this. And of course they have a tamper seal sticker that you cannot get through because it will ruin the the so-called "warranty"so I can't even take it apart to take pictures of what potentially is wrong with the system I contacted their support email and I have not received a single response back in the last 4 days. Absolutely horrible customer service and such a scam. I paid more than anticipated for this device because I was more than sure that they would do their jobs and due diligence to get me this device in a working condition. What even puts more salt in my wound is the fact that I went to my local game store and I bought the same console for 15 bucks I was so disappointed I went out just to look for it. Keep in mind it didn't have a pen but it sure damn worked! NEVER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I ABSOLUTELY RESENT MY PURCHASE. I WOULD ADVISE YOU DO THE SAME!

bought a apex legend disc but it was fake they sold me fake copy

Ripped off my buddy and left him with a damaged PS2 system. Do your business elsewhere. Go look up Review Tech USA and DKOldies on YouTube and you'll see the video. Just...awful.
