The company’s refund policy is a lie, 100% satisfaction is not guaranteed, all communications are scripted, the work they do is unprofessional, and the call center supervisor, the highest person there will hang up on you if you ask for a refund and don’t accept their “apologies” and script that they have prepared for people who are fooled into using this “service” which just copies and pastes your answers into a form. There is much more needed for a divorce than this site provides, but it leads you into thinking they’ll help with the whole process. Not even offered a partial refund. They make it clear that they do not care about you.

Do yourself a favor and just hire a lawyer or get the paperwork yourself and fill out from the clerk of court. A lot of wasted time, a lot of back and forth, they are not prompt with their responses. I'm over $1000 so far with my payment to divorce.com, filing the paperwork with the court, your payment to divorce.com, etc.

The process was very simple! I'm just now waiting to receive my papers in the mail for me to file myself. I highly recommend divorce.com!!

Waste of time!

Mind you, I'm still in the process of filing, so this is technically a partial experience review. That said, so far the process has been unstressful. It's been a relief actually. They're detailed and available should you have questions or don't understand something. In my case, it's a clean divorce, both parties going there own way with what they came in with. But I imagine if it were more complex, Divorce.com would still be equipped to handle it.

They ask the bare minimum questions for the state of Ohio. I had 86 pages of divorce documents and most of the questions were blank on there leaving a lot of room for my spouse to push back. There's no way to go in and just answer the questions, they have to manually update the blank questions on the forms. I did speak to a wonderful lady at the company Melody, who was able to expalin the problem. Their system does not have the right forms from the state, or have not been updated yet. Essentially, they will be updating the questions to have all necessary forms fillable. They did also grant me a refund because their site was not able to complete the divorce forms for Ohio. So in you are from OH, you are better off just not paying, downloading the forms and then using Adobe to just type in your answers. Same service but it's free. Hopefully it's a fast update, because this is a good service and seems to be a good company, just not for all states at this time.
