Nada recomendable Dish Latino.

Comparison of cable with Dish Network
Comparison of cable with Dish Network: Dish Network is less expensive, and with a two year contract, they don't raise your rates every 12 months, as the cable company (Spectrum) did. Dish also has the most Christian channel offerings, though most are not offered in HD, even if they (like EWTN) are offered in HD on cable TV. A third pro for Dish over cable is that the Hopper allows you to off-load your shows to an external HD, so they don't auto-delete as the dvr gets full. Not having used Dish Network before, these obvious pros were what got us to sign up with them for two years. DN was also quick to send us the prepaid VISA card for choosing their service.
But you get what you pay for, and these are the downsides that we have experienced in the first 2 months with Dish Network:
* Customer Service: Cable wins: shorter hold times, more experienced and local (English speaking) technicians
* Channels: Fewer HD, though lots of SD channels
* Hardware--Hopper vs. Cable Box: the cable box wins: cable box was more user-friendly; had more user shortcuts and ways to speed thru menus, guides, and the dvr; and it did not screw up recordings. For instance, with the Hopper, sometimes when you have a two-part movie, it will not record Part 2 because it thinks it is the same as Part 1, and will not record it "twice" no matter what you do. I was on the phone with DN tech support for an hour trying to fix this issue before we went on vacation. Tech support was no help at all: the Hopper dvr would not record Part 2 no matter what we tried. To get me off the phone, the tech support representative told me, Oh it will probably record the show anyway. We did all the right things to set it up.
Nope, we are back from vacation and it did not record Part 2, so the guy lied just to get me off the phone. He knew, by the down arrow that I was describing that Part 2 would NOT record, but could not bring himself to tell me that their equipment is flawed and cannot tell the difference between Parts 1 and 2. Honesty would have been nice.
So the decision is yours: are the first three pros (i.e. lower monthly cost) worth having DN's lower quality:
customer service and DVR usability and recording ability?

I've been a Dish customer since I had…
I've been a Dish customer since I had to switch from Primestar, My family are able to watch about 12 channels out of the 120 channel package that we have for $123.00 monthly, they have nothing to offer a long-time customer but a larger bill & less channels, but I don't want Direct TV either. they give a low price for a limited time then they get ya good on larger billing later.

Impossible fast forward speed
I have a Hopper 3. Overall, it is a good DVR. However, the 15X fast forward as the slowest speed is impossible. I rarely use the fast forward. As cumbersome as it is, I use the 30 second button, then 10 second button to get to where I want in the recording. I’ve seen many complaints on line regarding the fast forward speed. Please go back to 4X as the slowest speed.
DISH, YOU NEED TO START LISTENING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Hopper Duo Review
Hopper Duo Unreliable.
Left Direct after eight years. (Price increases and I do not like AT&T)
We only have one TV and was issued a Hopper Duo. Within a couple weeks the reciever started resetting itself while we were watching TV. Called and was issued another Hopper Duo. Hard drive failed within two weeks.
Took forever on the phone but was finally allowed to get a Hopper Sling. Much better reciever.
