A fantastic voyage in the fjords of Prince William Sound. Cannot imagine how this experience could be made better. A beautifully maintained boat; an enthusiastic, knowledgeable captain; a great cook; knowledgeable crew as guides focused on safety and making it fun. Captain Dean knows the best anchorages and the best places to be with the existing weather conditions. Meg prepared delicious, nutritious, and plentiful meals. Crew/guides Tori and Erin saw to our every need for kayaking and shore excursions and were a wealth of knowledge for all questions. We would go again in a heartbeat.

Where to start…. If you want to have a wonderful time, see stunning sights with knowledgeable fun people, this is the trip for you. Wildlife, views, and the ability to get off the boat and play on some of Alaska’s untouched islands are just some of the perks. The team that runs the discovery is a husband and wife that are an awesome tag team. The crew is so fun, we didn’t want it to end. The boat was perfect- has everything you need, including a spin bike. The rooms are small but I actually slept better than I did in our king size bed And now- the food. Off the chain. Each meal is made with love and delicious. We were worried there wasn’t going to be alcohol, but that was plentiful! 5 stars is not enough for this gem, truly an adventure of a life time. BOOK IT!!

Absolutely spectacular experience and introduction to Alaska's unique environment. The voyage was run by an expert, knowledgeable and caring crew, who clearly knew what they were doing - individually, and as a team. The scenery was outstanding and as one of our number stated, it was a pretty unusual to have it rain and be foggy almost every day and yet find this to be perfect weather for a vacation. Finally, the food was superlative (Thanks Meg!). This is a first-class operation from start to finish - nicely done all!

A five star experience all around - excellent and knowledgeable staff who never hesitated to go above and beyond, outstanding meals, small but adequate cabins, world class hiking and kayaking. And…the spectacular natural beauty of Prince William Sound. Can’t imagine a better way to spend 5 days.

I really cannot say enough good things about Discovery Voyages! My husband and I started our vacation with this trip and we felt spoiled rotten! The whole crew was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, and just real people. They were really great at reading the passengers making us feel at home and comfortable. I would recommend Discovery Voyages and their offerings 100%!

Grand Alaska 9d tour - highly recommended! Went on the tour with my spouse and four friends, looking to see wildlife and great scenery. Incredible trip, from Fairbanks thru Denali and on to Prince William Sound, full of experiences and sights I didn't expect, and some I didn't even imagine. Huge kudos and many thanks to Dean, Meg, Erin and Bill on board MV Discovery, who were all wonderful hosts and guides. In particular, Bill Mohrwinkel was amazing on land and water for the entire 9 days, thank you so much Bill!

I loved the outdoor experiences of hiking and kayaking, the food, the wildlife viewing and the food. A wonderful captain, a great crew, and best of all time to really experience the glaciers of the Sound.
