Offering high quality 3 - 6 day cruises with a maximum of 12 guests on the historic Discovery in beautiful Prince William Sound, Alaska (just south of the largest Alaskan city, Anchorage). We do offer a handful of trips that incorporate Denali National Park as well. Prince William Sound encompasses 3,800 miles of coastline to explore via kayak and foot. The Sound is home to the densest concentration of tidewater glaciers in the world, containing 50 glaciers and 17 tidewater glaciers (touching the ocean), known for dramatically calving huge ice chunks into the sea. Enjoy spectacular views from sea level up to 13,000 ft mountain peaks. More than 220 species of birds (and around 200,000 seabirds summer in the Sound), along with 30 species of land mammals, and at least a dozen marine mammal species make this area quite special. Resident marine mammals include humpback, sei, fin, minke, killer whales, and dall's porpoise as well as Steller sea lions, harbor seals, and sea otters. In western Prince William Sound, black bears may be seen on narrow beaches and are most often seen fishing when the salmon are spawning.

A Once in a Lifetime Experience!
My husband and I had an amazing adventure aboard the Discovery! The crew were extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area. Megan was a first-rate gourmet chef for every meal and appetizer. I've never eaten better! Dean was so enthusiastic and hard-working as the captain of the boat and a wealth of knowledge regarding the glaciers, the history of the area and the general facts specific to Price William Sound. The Discovery took us through the Sound and its fjords and we witnessed breathtaking views throughout the trip from the bow of the boat, from the land on bear trails or from the water in kayaks. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience!

The Super Fun For All…
The tour through the Sounds was stellar. Dean and Crew were there for us at every moment. There was something for everyone to do twice a day and they were able to taylor the events so that everyone could participate. Megan provided all the directions needed to smooth the sign up process and was an amazing cook, providing meals for every need. WOW! This well polished voyage is highly recommended for almost any group and is a "trip of a lifetime"not to be missed.

Absolutely fantastic trip!
This was a totally amazing trip. Our two sons both proposed to their girlfriends on our trip in front of a glacier. Our crew of Dean, Meg, Hugh and Julia managed the events perfectly so each couple could experience their unique event. While we are on land, Meg (with Julia’s planning) decorated the lounge and their respective cabins laying on champagne, chocolates, a special desert and so much more. We cannot thank them enough for such a trip. Aside from the two engagements, the whole trip was spectacular including unique hikes, ice flow kayaking, bears, otters, salmon, sea lions, waterfalls, rainbows etc etc. This was our 2nd trip on the Discovery and they gave us our 2nd trip of a lifetime which we will always treasure. Totally recommend these guys!
