I have a pretty high balance. I've never missed a payment but my balance barely seemed to get much lower so I called them to see if lowering my interest rate was an option. Apparently, my interest rate was already lowered by 2%. She said that they check on the accounts periodically. I wish I got her name to give her credit for this review but completely forgot to ask. Although she wasn't able to lower it any further at this time, she voluntarily gave me some tips on how to lower my balance. She was such a sweetheart and took her time to explain how the billing cycle works and what the APR means beyond just that it stands for Annual Purchase Rate. If I didn't understand, she broke it down for me until I did. She changed my life. Discover has never failed me. I always get the best customer service and this experience has been amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

It's rare that I get impressed with a company's customer service, better yet it is hard to expect that from a credit card company but Discover's customer service has been interestingly excellent. Wish you guys great success.

I read a lot of negative feedback below and couldn't help but chime in that I had only the BEST experience with them in the few years that I use them. They compare very nicely to the other banks and credit card providers that I've come across. The US-based customer service, immediate response, very user-friendly account interface, great for traveling abroad since they don't charge FX fees.

I m actually taking the time to review this company as i ve been using their credit card service since 2018 and I have not been disappointed once. The reason I m doing this review is because I think people tend to spread the negative stuff faster than the positive one and discover truly deserves to get the recognition from its user because of their excellent customer service and very promising problem solving with the issues. I ve been using 3 different credit card services right now in United States and so far Discover is the only financial service that has never disappointed me once.If you are residing in United States, I think discover is the great one for you.

Totally wonderful company....people helpful and kind.......called to see if they would lower my APR and yes they could.....not by a lot but every bit helps....they provide great information take the time to be clear...a great overall experience...would recommend this card to anyone

This company is great at helping you anytime their is a dispute or confusion in your account. They answer the telephone when you call by their very friendly competent employees.

No problems in many years of banking with Discover - credit cards, savings account, loans.
