“I want to warn everyone: do not use the Discovery credit card. I bought tickets for a wrestling event that was advertised as a big, professional event, but the app never warned me that it was a fraudulent venue. At no point did they say it had no permits or that we were attending at our own risk. It was just promoted as a big wrestling event. I took my three young daughters with me, and when we arrived, the police shut it down. After all this, I contacted the card, and instead of supporting me, they told me to get a lawyer. This card does not cover fraud; on the contrary, it leaves you to handle it yourself. It is a total scam. So, please, do not use Discovery if you want to be protected.”

Terrible company whose buggy website made me waste all my cashback. Should have stuck to points cards and not given them my business. Will be cancelling. They don't value their customers and will do nothing to help you if there's a problem.

This is the worst card. When you dispute a case, they don't give cardholders a fair chance. I do not recommend it; I give it 0 stars—and I’m not lying.

I fell behind on my payments and discover offered me three options to get my payments back on track, but if none of them worked for me, they gave me the option to reach out to customer service via messaging to see what other options they had. I unfortunately was connected to Robert, who never offered me any payment plans. He told me there was none available, even though I literally saw three of them before I connected to the chat. Then, he was more concerned with updating my contact information then making an unhappy customer happy again after his interaction or addressing my comment about how he was unhelpful by denying me a payment plan that I knew was available to me. Then, he wanted to entice me into scheduling two payments with him instead of doing it myself by dangling a late payment fee waiver, if I let him schedule my payments for me. Do they get commission on this? When I asked if he could wave it without scheduling the payments, he said no. Then, he updated my contact information even though I told him he didn't have the correct one. The money they make off of the interest of my credit card, I should at least get subpar customer service not trash. I guess since Discover was taken over by Capital One, you're now going to get that horrible customer service every time you want to speak to somebody

Lying company claim fraud protection but that’s a lie I got ripped off on purchase and they would not reverse. Good thing I closed the account. Terrible customer service yes seers you 5 times to get an idiot that couldn’t speak English. Very disappointed.

Terrible customer service. There was fraudulent activity on my card and Discover denied my dispute. The activity took place over too long of a period for them to say it was fraud.

I received am email from Discover to upload additional information on a dispute. When I click on the Dispute tab I receive the message "This page is temporarily unavailable We apologize for the inconvenience. We're working on resolving the issue. Please try again later or contact us at 1-800-DISCOVER (1-800-347-2683). I contacted customer Service and they connected me with online support. The rep. asked if I tried different browsers? I had with no difference. She then stated that I needed to clear cache and cookies. This is not their problem it is mine? WAIT!!!! THEY ARE IN MY BUSINESS. I do not want to delete cookies or clear cache. They are being intrusive. This affects the sites that I use often including the Discover site. If this is a requirement of their site then they should publish a list of cookies that stop customers from accessing their capabilities. The cookies I use are to make my browsing sessions less of a hassle. NO COMPNAY SHOUDL TELL A CUSTOMER TO MODIFY THEIR SYSTEM CONTENTS TO SATISFY THEIR APPLICATION - DISCOVER INCLUDED.

For disputes, they favor in side with the merchant and not their loyal customer. They told me that as long as the company has a “‘o refund” policy, they can’t do anything to help me with a dispute because they have to follow the merchants policy. So much for them protecting me against scams. I will never use Discover again and just lost out on a lot of money because of their lack of customer protection.
